I prefer the handling and presentation of the SNES game. Honestly, SMK might just be the most charming game ever made; every character has their own victory jingle and dance and stuff :D

I do concede the SMK tracks were very cool unlockables, though I never got why they didn't have any of the obstacles from the SNES game; it made one of the later Bowser Castle tracks very easy. And it lowered down Rainbow Road to only slightly ridiculous :P

You may be right, but I never played Super Circuit and all my best Kart memories are of SMK and SMK64. Though one of my favourite tracks ever is a Super Circuit track - Sky Garden - which I played on the DS version.

I loved Sky Garden until it became clear online that it was a snaker's paradise when they got bored of Figure-8 :x

Oh crap, snaking...that's a can of worms right there.
