Update:



Finally finished Oblivion after six years. Then started on something totally different with Killzone, which I whistled through in about six hours. It was quite good actually, even if I think the game dipped in the middle with it's generic sci-fi "alien elemental" plot. It was much better when it was just a slow slog through a wartorn city.

Now I was going to go straight onto Sin and Punishment, but a friend has let me borrow Arkham Asylum (I traded my copy in after getting 1000/1000 on the Achievements) and Uncharted 2. Will probably dust both those off before I start any of my games.

Both shouldn't take me more than 15 hours. AA I will probably whizz through in about seven or so, seeing as I'm not going to both with much of the Riddler stuff this time.

I couldnt believe how quickly I went through Killzone either. Wonder why I put off such a short game

It's what I needed though, after nearly 200 hours of Oblivion.

Plus, a short game like that does wonders for my backlog. I want to get the short titles out of the year before I start some of the epic RPGs I have, as otherwise I tend to get distracted by an unplayed game on my shelf.

With Killzone, I was playing on the normal difficulty and if I was trying to squeeze value out of it, I would see if it was anymore intense on the harder settings.

Uncharted 2 should be a little longer, though.

I just hope my strategy doesn't just have me playing games to complete them (though I was kind of doing that with Killzone). I really need to clear a lot of my current gen titles - don't get me started on my PS2 and GC backlog - before November, though I'm going to try and not buy any more until then.
