Best bet really is PC, DVI to HDMI cable, an N64 emulator that will work in high res and one of these http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-6m- ... -3d9o.html

No but the reviews are decent enough. I just use a wired Xbox 360 pad.

That's what I use, too. Only issue I have is I sometimes accidentally do C-Up when I want to do C-Left or C-Right. But that's just me being a mong.

Same here. I actually got pretty far in Diddy Kong Racing using the Xbox controller, so I guess it's pretty good.

I read the reviews for that USB thing and it seems to work perfectly. I'll probably buy it eventually, although the controller sticks on my N64 pads are pretty destroyed.

I just bought a N64 off ebay (ntsc/jap) and the supplied component lead to a very poor picture practically unplayable. Heavily saturated colours and so bright the castle in mario 64 was impossible to make out each section. I was about to send it back as I thought it was faulty but I thought to myself since some one has taken the time to convert the machine to play jap games they might of also done the RGB mod too with it been a US machine so I took a gamble and ordered a £4.50 RGB cable to see if this sorted the problem.

strawberry float me is all I can say! absolutely stunning picture crystal clear and running full screen and full speed. I have only played PAL nintendo 64 before and even then that was some time ago but even now I can tell the difference in speed and its like playing the games again for the first time.

To sum this up, yeah you can RGB mod a N64 but it has to be a early US or Jap model but it does work and it is worth the effort.
