What have you regretted getting rid of?

We've all been there: you have junk cluttering up your home/room so off it goes to the bin or charity shop, then years later you realise what a mistake you made.

Back when my son was born I needed to clear out the spare room and one of the biggest items was my old Scorponok transformer just sat there gathering dust.
Fast Forward 5 years and I realise he'd have loved a 2' tall transformer to play with

My first car, a 1975 MKI Escort in Mexico green.

Bought in 1996 when I was 17 for £200. I let it rust, then it got taken away when my dad's house got reposessed.

They are 1) cool and 2) worth a strawberry floating fortune now. Many go for five-figure sums.
