Broadcast TV is typically disseminated via radio transmissions in the 7-1000 megahertz-range of the FM frequency band[1]. I've been basically workign on a backstory for him. So far he was discovered floating on a barrel in the middle of the ocean and he spoke perfect english and agreed to help the Portsmouth Pirates find their way to Portsmouth and eventually Booty cove in exchange for a place on the ship.

I've been working on a script for the first episode of The Portsmouth Pirates TV series. I've got two lines so far:

Me: Damnit, Rich!
Rich: Sorry guys.

I've got a good idea of what the first episode could be like.

It will start with the pirates finding their future mascot out at sea, before their ship is boarded by Cosmo and his team of villains. As is protocol on the high seas, the Kramericans challenge them to a football match. The pirates somehow win, and Cosmo is blasted away in a cannon.

Is Cosmo going to get blasted at the end of every episode? There needs to be some sort of catchphrase if so, or maybe the parrot makes a stupid joke that everyone does that stupid annoying laugh at, like in all comedies.

A variation of bad things can happen to Cosmo at the end of each episode. \o/ I want him as the main villain, especially for the first series. I haven't thought much about the Kramericans yet, but I like the idea of GM as a menacing sidekick, with more brains than Cosmo, but reduced to second in command to him and his crazy plans.

I like the idea of the parrot ( ) ending the episode with a stupid joke.

Episode ideas then:

- Pilot (posted that one above)
- Pirates in space, they launch themselves there from the ships cannon, like they do in Papes.
- Pirate ghosts, blates.
- Pirates return to dry land and enter an actual football competition, this can be nearer the end of the series.

It might be best to save McJam for the second series, we can't throw too much at the audience at once. Get a few series' done and then we can think about the movie, starring David Beckham.

Cosmo must also be a very camp sexually ambiguous character. A mix between James from team rocket, that villian from Lazytown and Zapp Brannigan

We might also need to create a female character or two to add a bit of sex appeal and to prevent the crew from resorting to homosexuality. I think that Aunty Ginga for one could easily be converted to a woman.
