Showing my age here! Mine are a mix of moments and actual stuff.
Chuckie Egg on the Acorn: Watching my dad go nuts as the giant chicken chased his farmer got me into games. We aslo had the old box that used to plug in to the telly with the 300 games in 1, that were all really just versions of Pong!
Donkey Kong - Table Top version: Again my dads mental scores on it and having a first go on it.
ZX Spectrum - So many games for so cheap 1.99 Hitsquad range anyone?
The 3 arcade cabinets in my local greengrocers - stuff like Shinobi, Streetfighter, Sidearms, WWF Wrestling etc. Strolling in and there might be a new high score on there, a new game in the cabinet and always people in there. It was almost like a community centre!
NES - Playing Super Mario Bros for the 1st time. I recalling telling my mum I'd never need another game
Online gaming - How did I play without going online before! It's the first thing I check now, who's on, what are they playing?
PS Vita - I'm now playing and not feel like I'm missing out or playing a "lite" version of a game when the opportunity to play at home isn't available!
Looking at the list it all seems like early childhood stuff where there was lots of different experiences for the first 5. There's a lot of consoles etc I could put in between NES and finally going online with my 360, but they do just seem like advancements of the same thing really. Which boils down to <doffs my old man hat> these new gamers don't know they're born!
