Dungeon finder is the reason for people being obnoxious. It's all down to the anonymity factor. Group up with a few people on your server and you'll notice people are generally polite and cooperative. That's because a reputation can come back and bite them in the ass.

Also, whether you like it or not, WoW was a huge gear grind back in the day - the reason it was so exciting is because it was a massive, new world to explore. That aspect of the game hasn't changed one bit.

Cheers, I've requested an invite for a guild that I've seen a few folk from wandering around so I'll see how I get on.

I hit level 55 last night and royally ballsed up my attempt at creating a Death Knight.

I spent ages agonising over a name for him and ended up with one which I wasn't overly happy with it but, as I'd had that many returned as already being in use, I just went with it anyway.

After a few minutes play, I decided I'd have another think about it and went to delete the character. The trouble was that it wouldn't let me due to the items that he held.

So, I started back up again and chucked all his armour and stuff, leaving a rather cold looking Worgen where a proud Death Knight once stood, and tried deleting again. Still no joy. Apparantly the mail in my mailbox was stopping me now.

I gave up on trying to get to the closest mailbox after dying for the 5th time and submitted a ticket asking if the character can be deleted on my behalf.

I think this is when a is most appropriate.



EDIT: Fixed now thanks to a friendly person at Blizzard. Just played a couple of hours as my new Death Knight. Oooh, it's a lot of fun, isn't it?

DK starting area is very enjoyable indeed. Some fiddly bits here and there but I enjoyed it so much that I sometimes used to create a DK on a new server just to play it again.

edit: well I just about jizzed my pants at the opening line of info under The Mists of Pandaria Press Tour in 5 Minutes sub-heading. Not happy about the Alliance being involved though. We can sort our own problems out thankyouverymuch! No occupying forces in Orgrimmar!

This has been the longest period of time where I have gone without WoW, I knew I'd be back for the new expac. Though up until now I wasn't all that excited. Am excited now

On another note can someone tell me the best armour specs for a frost mage? Is it Stamina/Intellect or Spirit?

I've made a decision to quit raiding at the end of this expansion I think. I've had a good few years raiding then I took a break and went back at the end of last year, I've really enjoyed raiding these dungeons together with my guild who re-formed, but I think it's finally time for me to hang up my tie on the old WoW rack again.

I'll play this expansion most likely and enjoy it, but I won't be raiding it with my guild or at all I don't think, I've come to the end of my tether with it, I want my evenings free again and raiding is starting to become a chore again. Told my GM via PM a few hours ago as he made a massive post saying he wants to take the guild back to 3 days a week and stuff, but 2 days is enough for me to handle right now and if I get more uni work I won't be able to handle doing 3.

I don't know why I'm posting all this gooseberry fool here, it's late and I'm tired, just wanted to say it.
