The original Thief game, Thief: The Dark Project redefined first person gaming and established an entirely new genre of stealth based game play. Eidos-Montréal, which is also currently producing the much anticipated Deus Ex™ 3, has recruited the very best core team for the development of Thief 4. On a scale of 1-56, how wrong is it that I have both Thief 2 and 3 but have never even bother to install them?

I bet I'd love them as well, as the gameplay and ideas tick all my boxes.

No Thief 4 Appearance At E3, Eidos Montreal Fully Dedicated To Deus Ex

Eidos Montreal has told Connected Consoles that the studio is fully dedicated to upcoming title Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and that Thief 4 will not be making an appearance at the E3 conference.

We spoke to the studio - who are set to reveal a new trailer for Human Revolution very soon - who told us: "Our studio is completely dedicated to Deus Ex at the moment". We then had to ask what exactly will be shown at E3 in just a couple of weeks time.

CC: Thief 4 will not be making an appearance at E3 in under two weeks time, though Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be?
Eidos Montreal: That’s correct!

We don't expect to see anything else, as one studio can only take on so many projects at a time, and if Eidos want to take both franchises up a notch, they need to take their time.
