Been playing my pro guitar and it keeps freezing mid song until I lie back with it or really push the MIDI cable in. Is this a problem with the cable or the guitar? I'm guessing the former.

EDIT: Turned for the worst. Looks like the MIDI socket on the guitar has been pushed down. So looks like I will have to screw it open and push it up... if that will work. Incredibly lame.

Harmonix has 'no plans to stop' weekly Rock Band DLC releases

Harmonix has no intentions of launching Rock Band 4 this year. The company is currently working on several projects, which can be derived from job postings on the developer's site, including some kind of downloadable title.

They also said recently that the Pearl Jam project is a no go to. Not that I'd buy it but :fp: they must have done a fair bit of work on it I would have thought.

I have no idea what the announcement next month is now. I think it will either be:

  • A band specific Rock Band (unlikely)
  • A downloadable Rock Band game (RB3.5)
  • A downloadable content pack for RB3 (clothes, characters, new tour etc)
  • Shitty mobile phone Rock Band game

Unscrewed the MIDI area to get to the jack and everything works fine when I put my new MIDI cable in. Just going to be a case of putting it all back together so it doesn't fall back again now...
