Can't stand the guy. For me, the only public figure in gaming that I've warmed to at Sony has been Shuhei Yoshida. That guy is amazing, funny (and not in a cringey laughing at him way like Kaz), genuinely passionate about gaming and rarely spouting hyperbolic nonsense. Pretty much the opposite to how I've found Phil Harrison over the years. Can't say I'm thrilled at the news.

It does occur to me that in the ability to bring strategic vision this guy is quite a big step up from Moly.

Seems liked like a visionary but never really a strategist. Phil might well change things in a positive way.

You know the biggest things Phil wanted to do with PS3 before he left was to get into the social/casual gaming space and make software primarily digital downloads.

I can see Kinect being the big push for the next Box out of the box.

I was trying to think when us xbots despised Harrison most and I decided it was E3 2005, when the PS3 was announced. Eurogamer called the PS3 the "the real next gen" and ran the following interview:

Is there anything in those tech demos that hasn't already been matched graphically by PS3 games? Apart from the movement and hair in the Killzone demo everything else has now been matched.
