yeah I'll sign up too please. Only played a couple of rounds of it and no idea how to slice/hook or spin the ball but I seem to manage to do alright anyway. Best chip in is 77mtrs!

I'd prefer the daily tournament one, I'd find it easier to fit a round in when I get time as opposed to having to organise a set time with someone else to play match play.

I'd actually prefer match play to be honest. What's to stop someone just replaying the same daily tournament over and over to card up a really good score? Unless you can only enter the Daily Tournament once (haven't tried yet)?

It just seems to favour those willing to grind it out rather than a one-to-one competition.

You can only play a daily tournament once and if you quit out of it without finishing then it logs you as having withdrawn from the competition.

Right then, let's get this ball rolling with a trial event to see how it works. It's going to run Tuesday 6th March, Thursday 8th March and Saturday 10th March. To compete, you need to complete the 18 hole Daily Tournament on those 3 days. Anyone not completing a round on that day gets an automatic score of the highest registered score + 2 extra shots (so e.g. the worst score is +4 then if you miss the day you'll get +6). I'll then collate the scores and we'll see how it goes. If its a success then I'll look to arrange a more formal competition.

In order to collate all the scores, I'm going to need everyone on my friends list. Please PM me your PSN name or send me a friend invite to Harmon_Smith.

Deadline for entrants is Monday 5th 9pm.

15 entrants, this is shaping up to be pretty good.

My psn name is Regis555 but I can't start anything until at least Tuesday unfortunately. I've also recently found out I'm not the golfing God I thought I was and that in fact I'm really gooseberry fool. Not playing the game for 5 years really has made me lose my touch somewhat and I had to do the opening challenge mode tourny 3 times .

Unless everyone else fails to turn up I have a feeling I may not be as victorious as I'd assumed I would be.

Stop making me want this I can;t afford it right now
