Don't you meet these requirements Denster :(

My laptop is a bad for games but it should be able to run something from 2005. Played Psychonauts on Xbox when it came out, but got stuck and abandoned it. Definitely looking forward to having another go though.

Where? Somewhere in the vast recesses of your 27,000 posts? I don't have the time, and I tried to offer a helpful response. I did get the reference though.

Of those 27,000 posts how many are for GGGC. How many in 360 related threads - none.

It matters not, anyway. I can't play it. I'll pick up the next one when it swings around.

The only thing I can think of it running it on something like Virtualbox, but that's a huge faff to set up.

Anyone know if Gameseek are reliable? I already have a copy of the game but a quick search throws this up as the cheapest place to get the PS2 version. No luck on finding somewhere with the Xbox copy in stock. Of course, it's £5.99 on Steam, making that the best option price-wise (and arguably overrall).

I've started working on a schedule, looking over my old save files means that I'm certain this will be more of a mini-GRplayde, two weeks should be more than enough time. Should have it posted up by Tuesday at the latest.

Just buy it on Steam so you can play it in HD.

Gonna fire it up and try it out in 1080p today. Played in 720p last time.

Think I'm going to go through it again and get all the extra bits and pieces.

Took me about seven and a half hours but I would budget for it taking about 10 for the less pro members.

There's a mod called "PsychoPad lite" which works with the steam version and replaces the icons in the game with Xbox 360 style icons, makes it easier to play with that controller.

http://voodooman.gta-action.ru/download ... lv1.0b.rar

Point it at your psychonauts folder, run it, it takes a while to complete, as there are a lot of icons to replace.

I couldn't wait so I started and completed the Basic Braining. So far it just seems like a generic platformer but I guess that first level was really more of a tutorial, humour is a strong point since there are some lol out loud moments and I'm sure it'll get more interesting when I can do more than just double jump. I can see the potential, will hold off from playing any more I just wanted to see what it was like :)

Oh and one of the sound effects in the game sounds like the noise in RE1+2+3 when you move up or down in the inventory menu or storage box screen.

Was just over on the DF store and you can actually get signed copies of the PS2/Xbox version for $60.

Unsigned is $50.

I'd still just get the Steam version.

This looks pretty sharp in 1080p except for the UI which doesn't seem to scale up for some reason.

I would have had the schedule up for Paper Mario already, btw.

Just saying, you all picked wrong. However, from what I have played of Psychonauts, it seems like an average platformer, with a superb setting and characters. It's actually a shedload of fun exploring the campgrounds.

The camp is actually rubbish compared to the levels themselves.
