I totally have the top rated comment on that Youtube video with 300 likes but for some reason the guy who replied to me is showing in the top comments section instead of me
Tim! You are a golden God. Thank you for everything. Games like Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, Monkey Island, and DOTT have turned me into the quirky, funny, intelligent, interesting, modest person I am today. If you are ever in need of a crazy fan who is willing to jump off a bridge, push his mother into an incoming freight train, or commit any other immoral and/or illegal act for any sick, depraved reason whatsoever, please do not hesitate to let me know and I will be more than happy to oblige. THE QUESTIONS! (I listed a whole bunch. Answer them all and win a prize) What game are you most proud of having created/worked on? What are some of your favorite adventure games, aside from the ones you've created/worked on? What is your favorite adventure game puzzle? Any puzzle you designed that you’re particularly proud of? Any puzzles you’ve particularly disliked? What are your feelings about Sierra the company and its adventure games? Any games you loved/hated? I always think of Sierra and Lucas Arts as some kind of “Apple vs. PC” competition. What was the relationship like between those companies? Was there a lot of trash-talking going on? And last, have you heard of the adventure game Toonstruck? The "Who Framed Roger Rabbit"-esque game with Christopher Lloyd. I think there were some petitioning efforts to get the second part of the game released. As the adventure gaming guru, do you have any idea what’s going on with that? Can you use your wizardry to get this game released, or at least spread the word? Again, thank you so much for being here on reddit and earth!

Update Numero 4
Quote:
With only four days left until the end of the Double Fine Adventure Kickstarter Campaign, we bring you Mr. Tim Schafer himself for some very important announcements:
Or maybe you don't have time for all this video nonsense. In that case, let me break it down for you using three cute little bullet points:
• The Collector's Edition will be packaged in a cardboard box reminiscent of the old school games we all know and love. It will be awesome.
• Mr. Schafer himself will be signing all of the Double Fine Adventure books. He'll also gently caress all of their bindings. I mean, if you're into it.
• We've added a fancy new shirt to the $100 tier so you may show the world how amazing you are. Check it out!:
Shirt is shockingly bad. The CE sounds really cool but it's still just Tat really and forget paying $100 for it.
I quite like the shirt but the two babies logo is pretty crap in general so that kinda spoils it. Wonder if anyone will get the one remaining "dinner with Tim" reward tier for 10k
Looks like they're going to hit $3 million in the next 24 hours before it's all over. Fingers crossed anyway.
For those that haven't pledged and read the update, there's going to be a live ustream of the final moments of the Kickstarter. Maybe the title should be changed, last chance to get some other GRers involved in what should be a more active thread.

just checked and the kickstarter states this finishes in 9 hours, looks like they hit the 3 mill mark as well.

looks like they had a good party for it, it is quite amazing how much has been raised though but i think a lot of people have belief in tim and ron that they can make a very good game and as they have a bit of freedom they shouldnt have to many constraints. The one thing is that they do get taxed for this kickstarter setup, i can't remember how much by but it is a good bit but they will still ahve loads to work with.

Also, if you're a backer you should really be keeping up with the documentary, it's an amazing insight into games development. The Amnesia Forthnight series was fascinating too, crazy seeing something go from nothing to a playable thing in such a short amount of time.
