More than likely. But, I've had a couple of very cheap PSP games from HMV at launch (Disgaea 2, Half minute hero) so there is always a chance that this will get honoured.

Ooops. The item page to which you link still says £24.99 (and I hadn't seen it before so it's not a caching thing), but it appears in the basket as £39.99. Clever HMV.

I'm tempted to write an arsey email about the uncharted order, there is something not right about the whole thing. The game has been sat on the site for months at £39.99 and then for some reason they decide to re-price. This probably generates several hundred orders which they then cancel. There is no way on earth this is a mistake, it just smacks of them desperately harvesting new accounts.

Well this is completely brilliant. It's very reminiscent of the original Uncharted because of the lack of huge, cinematic set pieces, which I think is a good thing. It's very refreshing to take a break from the epic disasters of Uncharted 2 and 3.

Before the game came out I was worrying that the new characters would be a bit naff but Dante is absolutely great, just love it when he's on screen. And the relationship between Chase and Drake is really sweet.

Just about to start chapter 21.

Sully is so strawberry floating amazing in this. I didn't even realise he was going to be in it so when he popped up and started giving Drake a lecture, it was like OMFGHGGHGHGHGS!

The only things I dislike about this game is the touch screen stuff(the knife is the worst thing ever) and the voice acting for the non main cast members, it's really bad, like B-Movie bad.

Just finished and wow, best portable game I've ever played. Stands tall with it's PS3 brothers and I think it's a lot better than the first Uncharted. My ranks would be:

Among Thieves
Golden Abyss
Drakes Deception
Drakes Fortune

Bloody long game too, the longest of them all for certain. Absolute gold Sublime writing and characters and plenty of that lovely stealth takedown gameplay that felt mostly missing from Drakes Deception.

The only niggles I have with it are the encounters at the end being a bit frustrating with the touch screen and...



Sony Bend have done an admirable job with this, possibly outdoing Naughty Dog themselves.

Also, this will be one frustrating joy to do on Crushing.

Wouldn't they have to redo the game? Things like rubbing on the paper/ holding the back of the Vita up to a light to get something to show up etc.

I'm sure they'll manage to alter some stuff. I read somewhere that the assets of the game were 720p or above and barring some of the swipe/motion functions it would be relatively easy to port onto the PS3. I fully expect to see a God of War PSP style conversion to appear within the next year or so.
