Yeah there seems to have been an awful lot of hate directed towards him recently. I think he fits in with the other GB personalities well, though naturally Jeff will always be the best and no one could ever compare to his bountiful glory.

I never went to giantbomb for news anyway and I dont look at his stuff now. The guy is getting more annoying by the week. The bomcast was one of the few podcasts I could stick on safe in the fact that I like everyone on it. Now I have to listen to this fool blabbering on about shite.

Can someone talk me into subscribing and what kind of features are there I'm missing? (I'm only aware of Breaking Brad)

'Random PC Game' is literally worth it alone. Vinny and Dave (and sometimes others join them) playing old PC games like Daggerfall and tons of amazingly bad FMV games, hilarious. 'Loud Our Last Save' is good too; it's Drew joining Vinny as they pickup an old game save and finish it (Halo CE, Freedom Fighters for example). Jeff has a video feature called 'Jar Time' where he sits down for an hour and answers user submitted questions and goes on random, highly entertaining tangents. There's a couple of random one off features like behind the scenes stuff, Vinny upgrading his Joust arcade machine, 5 hour SNES marathon and many others.

It's $60/year or $5/month, isn't it? Also applies to other Whisky sites, but AFAIK they don't have nearly as much premium content.

I'm with Crimson, I get fantastic value from Gb going by the amount of video content I download from them. When you work out how much you pay a week it really isn't much at all. Plus you're supporting a great independent site
