Yeah I gotta say I'm really looking forward to this despite the fact that I never really could get into the original!

I went back to this last night after not really getting the hang of it the first time around. Just arrived in Flotsam and now there's some tentacle monster attacking the town.

The presentation is really uneven. The game looks incredible but a lot of the time when it starts moving, the gorgeous visuals are undercut are some really poor animation and lack of cinematic polish in the cutscenes which really undermine the overall presentation.

I am enjoying it though, the universe seems quite interesting and the combat is fun if rather button mashy (although maybe it has a greater degree of depth I've yet to experience).

So it occurs to me I bought a stupidly good PC just after Christmas, so I don't need to wait until 360 release to play this

Can't wait to play it.

Basically, the difference is the free goodies. The "vanilla" edition includes a Making Of DVD, soundtrack CD, a game guide, a map of the game world, two pieces of papercraft and a physical version of an in-game pamphlet and a coin (at least at launch, they might have reduced the contents for the 2.0 edition). The Enhanced Edition seemingly only has the map, the hand book and the soundtrack.
