After 4 solid pages of answers (well over 70 replies!) the rate of response has slowed to a trickle, so I'm going to consider this a success and therefore deannouncify and lock this.
If you wish to be included in the results, or just in the OP of the
Higher Education Megathread, simply post your response there. Cheers!

Hi there,
This is a survey of Higher Education qualifications received or being studied towards by GRcade members. There is a specific motivation for this: recently there has been some desire in the University Thread for a more comprehensive and accurate database of GRcade's students and graduates, so in an attempt to modernise our new University-related thread (
The Higher Education Megathread) I'd like to ask every user of these forums for whom this is applicable to fill in this short survey, making their reply in this thread.
A secondary motivation, of course, is that I personally feel that this will be an interesting exercise and I hope some of you may share this interest. Obviously if you do not feel comfortable divulging this information there is no pressure to, but at the very least it would be useful to know about current students; though that isn't to say responses from graduates aren't equally welcome and valued.

Please respond to this survey if you meet any one of the following criteria:
- I currently hold
- an Unconditional Offer for a course which I am intending to accept,
- a Conditional Offer for a course for which I have met the conditions and am intending to accept;
- I am currently a student who is studying towards a qualification of the rank of Bachelor's Degree or higher;
- I am a graduate who holds a qualification of the rank of Bachelor's Degree or higher.
Once for each relevant qualification, i.e. three times if you hold a BA, an MA and a PhD, please complete the following form:
- Course title:
- Institution name:
- Year of Matriculation:
- Year of Graduation:
- Grade, if graduated and applicable:
EDIT: Someone has asked what 'matriculation' means - it's the year you started your course. Sorry if that was non-obvious, I didn't know that this was archaic terminology.Three sample responses follow, as a guide to the expected format of a response:

Thanks for taking the time to reply to this.
I would ask that all responses to this thread consist of survey responses, and that any discussion goes in The Higher Education Megathread.Thanks again, and much stats love,
Karl
