I see the necessity of the Picture/Music rounds- I just feel that next time there's no need for the blur filter/not the original song twists. The impression I got is that those tasks were hard enough in the GGGC previous without the added challenge.

Noted - they were a bit too tricky, expecially the picture round. I don't like to repeat myself too much, so I do try put a twist on rounds. I think in many ways this was a very 'predicatable' GGGC round wise - I think next time it'll be different.

Also, a suggestion for the final if people are getting tired of general knowledge- a medley of all the previous rounds that are suitable to do in a time frame.

What was "Scare the Hare?"

It was a gameshow that annoyed DML a hell of a lot as it was awful, it looked like it had been designed by a 3 year old, yet it got on TV and DML's ideas still haven't. I went for a low blow/bit of a joke with it.

I know nothing of gameshows compared to you DML (Is your name Gavin? For some reason I cant help but think it is.) but maybe you could pitch one for Radio (BBCRadio4 maybe) with the basic principle being popular music done by orchestra, like this years round?

Next time the semi-final should be between two teams of five, and it should be the Eggheads round that will all know is coming SOMEDAY.

It would work really well, doing the head to heads first, but then a team with one person left could still prevail and all get through to the final.
