Massa was great in the final few races last year. Never really saw him at his best as I'd stopped watching for quite a few years.

I do like Alonso, but would like to see Massa winning a few races.

Was watching some of the Ted stuff on sky last night and just before he started there was an interview with Kimi at the end of the previous program.

The guy interviewing him leaned in and said, "Kimi, is the desire to win a 2nd championship burning just as bright as it was when you won your first?!"

Kimi just looked at him, did an eye roll, head shake and just spoke to someone else

Edit:

Those glasses, he looks like Elton John :fp:

Not going to happen. Alonso is clearly too good for that.

That Kimi interview is great. The guy is brilliant!

I really wish yopu could get some tasteful F1 team shirts that didn't have the sponsors plastered all over them. I'd love a black and gold Lotus polo shirt, but I really do not wish to promote anti-dandruff shampoo. I kept walking up to the Lotus stand at Silverstone last year, then realising my mistake and walking away again. :fp:

Just seen that Kimi clip. Wow there was no need to be that disrespectful. That is bordering on arrogance.

That's straight from the football coverage question bank, where they waffle on about "desire", "hunger" and "wanting it" endlessly. That "interview" should be shown in F1 Journalism School in what not to do.

I thought that at first but it's actually quite an offensive question if you think about it, especially given the 'external factors' that seemed to be in force when he was at Ferrari which led to all the motivation questioning.

I'm definitely in the 'gooseberry fool question' camp.

He might as well have asked if he wanted to win races.

By offensive I mean that he's had his motivation questioned so many times since leaving Ferrari. It's all bollocks and he must be so sick of the comments and questions about it.

Anyway, Lotus look good at this stage. I'd say the front four will stay the same. Force India look shite, IMO.

I'm predicting that the F1 channel will be scrapped in favor of a new motorsport channel. If you want to view the 2014 season then everybody will have to subscribe to the more expensive sports package. Sky are also in talks to secure the WRC rights.

TV & Satellite times is showing an advert for the Sky F1 channel as £5 a month for the first 6 months and £10 odd after. From the quick look I had it seemed like no one will have the F1 channel unless they are prepared to pay. I'm not paying £5 and then £10 per month so Sky can strawberry float off and I'll just watch BBC highlights.

The Sky F1 channel is nowhere near good enough to warrant a fee on its own

Kimi and Charles Pic raced in the Race of Stars ice race event in Moscow. Kimi came 2nd in the end, narrowly losing out to the home favourite, with Pic 3rd.

Image

Apparently, the two F1 drivers got hardly any time in the cars to practice, so to come 2nd and 3rd was impressive. Apparently Pic didn;t fare to well against the winner but Kimi pushed him really hard. [/unbiased]

One of the Russian interviewers referred to Kimi as Mika when he questioned him. :slol:
