I was high up on a roof top, looking to unlock gate for those cTOS towers when I turned around and right in front of me was someone who was tailing me, I let out a shriek and mashed the joypad and he ran off, when I managed to compose myself and pick an assault rifle he had made way down and was running down street, in the mayhem I jumped off building to my death.
At the same time, when someone hacking you and you notice them its epic....seen a lad just in the distance reversing a boat, never seen an NPC do that so out with the rifle and a few shots and boom I got him. The tense times when hiding and someone looking for you, I had a lunatic run about shooting a grenade launcher at everything, he just missed me but searched everywhere (it was out in open more or less) except behind a horse cart, he even came right over but never looked behind. Another one was driving a van down alley and getting on top of it to reach a roof, then was watching on a camera as he eventually spotted the van and jumped up on it, I went back to character, jumped down ran out onto street from different alley and walked back PAST the original one as he ran past looking for me.
Whats the craic with the hacking, before I actually initiate hacks, some people online seem to know im about.
I noticed that as well. They get the "You're Being Invaded" message before you even get a chance sometimes. I invaded another player, and before I could even get my bearings he was tearing off in a car to the other side of the map. I eventually caught up with him, where he'd holed up inside one of the gun shops with only one way in so there was no way I could initiate without him seeing me and instantly murdering me. Fair play to the guy he found a way to survive, but I had absolutely no chance of beating him.
Then there was the guy who invaded me today. Found him and he immediately ran off a small ledge and according to the game was "killed" by me almost instantly. My guess is he disconnected thinking it would stop him from losing notoriety, but it did anyway. Kind of ruined the moment as he was the first person I'd found out of 3 invasions and I was looking forward to chasing him down and exacting my own brand of justice/revenge.
Yeah, yeah - I find him irritating, too - but does he have a point? I find it intriguing that the quality of the PC game might have been deliberately compromised in order to make 'parity' with the console version. After all, according to TB all the settings to re-enable that 2013 E3 quality are actually present in the final retail PC version.
Since that Dark Souls video, I generally don't click on PC gaming videos Cal posts because I'm fairly certain I'm going to find the presenters insufferable.
I don't really like TotalBiscuit, but he does make some interesting points from time to time. I agree with him about the fact that whatever the case is, Ubisoft are not going to come out the good guys. They're either hobbling their games for parity or are simply incompetent. Considering the terrible PC performance of Watch Dogs (and lots of other ubi games on PC) and no official patch as of yet, I'm inclined to go with the latter. If the game wasn't so bland and homogenised then I'd care enough to try and tweak it to get it running well while looking as good as possible.
I decided to step out from act 2 and tried to get all the collectables done.
I cant seen to find the last hotspot (its not the lighthouse!) do more points open up later? Same goes for the investigations, I seem to be missing two or so of all, which are not on the map

Have you try to hack the ctOS Tower to reveal more activities on the map?
