There's a new French supernatural thriller coming to Channel 4 in week 24, it's called The Returned and it's about people who don't realise they are dead.

Le Sixth Sense, then?

Channel 4 has commissioned a full series of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

Jimmy Carr will host the mash-up comedy quiz, while regular team captains Sean Lock and Jon Richardson will take on the words and numbers game.

Excellent news. Better than the main Countdown.

They should make it the new normal countdown and put it on every day.

I noticed yesterday actually that it was being filmed this month over two days, and they don't only film one episode a day so thought it might quite a few more episodes

Danny Dyer is the first guest in dictionary corner.

Danny Dyer will appear in the first episode of the upcoming new series of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

The British actor will sit alongside Susie Dent in Countdown's dictionary corner for the comedy quiz.

The series will launch on Channel 4 on the week of July 20, with Rhod Gilbert and Jason Manford also appearing in the first episode.
