Hopefully those jaggies aren't in the PS4 version and we get 1080p, because other than that it looks astounding.

Does the new Assassin's Creed also use Snowdrop Engine?

"We get 1080p"?

You even own a PS4?

Highly doubt any other game bar The Division is using the Snowdrop engine, why would Assasins Creed use a whole new engine? :dread:

I still think the graphics are looking lovely but was that E3 gameplay really running on the Xbox One?

The cinematic trailer was good, the gameplay footage wasn't quite as impressive as it was pretty much your standard cover shooter stuff. I hope we end up getting a good variety of missions in this beyond the standard go from a to b while taking cover - maybe some missions that play into the whole survival aspect theme.

Well the guy was on the MS E3 stage holding an Xbox One controller, and the footage was riddled with jaggies, I'd say it was running on Xbox One. Most likely 720p.

That trailer is stunning. The way it traverses the apartment is briliant.

It's one of my most wanted games for 2015 and does anybody else feel the vibe from Freedom Fighters?

It sounds fantastic too so I'll keep my eye on this.

Not sure why this thread didn't come up using the search function  but nonetheless OXM said they've watched this being demoed on Xbox One during Gamescom.

What would you do in the event of a viral epidemic? If the answer is "retrieve a military-grade shotgun from behind the washing machine, slip on a beanie and head to the nearest post office in search of anarchists", welcome to the ranks of the Division, a network of sleeper agents charged with reclaiming New York from thugs and plague spores alike.

Saw The Division running on Xbox One. Jaw dropping gorgeous. Steam and environments were unreal. Gameplay also looked to be solid. Sold!

TBH, I'm ready to have my expectations lowered in the visuals department. It's Ubi's current form, after the Watchdogs farrago. I won't mind too much; it's still going to look fairly impressive, after all, but I'm convinced that all we've been shown so far are very carefully orchestrated 'slices' which amount to little more than a sort of 'target render' of the final product. Having said that, it's still a game I'm very much anticipating - something about the whole set-up for it really appeals.

I still think it looks fantastic and I'm more looking forward to the possibilities of the online multiplayer as if it's anywhere near as good as The Last of Us then I'll be happy with that.

Snowdrop engine looks good to me and jaggies aside the E3 playthrough on X1 still had all the cool effects, lighting and impressive ingame hologram map that displays on the ground. I expect it to be gorgeous on X1/PS4 with the both maybe running at 900p and PC getting a stunning version.

The problem with PC games, if it is a problem is, fans then mod the game to make it look better etc but on more than one occasion in here PC gamers have yarred the game applied the mod to it and just look at how gorgeous it is forgetting to actually play the thing.

I would be rather surprised if the PS4 version isn't 1080p, it's standard across most games on the platform now.

I'm looking forward to Cal getting this on the PC then applying a single player mod to it

Some graphically demanding games are still down to 900p on PS4 also and this game looks like it might be a bit like that as its not cross gen. As shown in DF's face off on Diablo 3, it preferred the X1 version as it had a higher and smoother frame rate despite being only 900p, in fact they are not sure what major benefit upgrading it to 1080p in its day one patch will have, especially as it impacts performance. FPS is key for me in most games.
