Tried this for the first time tonight, fantastic fun :D Runs so smoothly and the variation between Pilot and Titan is pretty cool.

Will hopefully get playing a bit more soon. Bargain at £10.

After near enough 140 hours worth of Titan dropping (Including the Beta) I've now uninstalled it. Played 2 rounds and just can't be arsed with it anymore. So long sucka :datass:

No official PR yet but probably part of the 1 year anniversary.

Got this when it was £10 for everything. Reckon they should have priced it like that to begin with, pretty average with bugger all to keep you coming back.

I've played this game a lot since buying it for £10. Must be on its way to EA Access soon at this rate.

This game is amazing, but its well down pecking order now behind Halo and Battlefield online. :(

If they do the same for the DLC on PC I might come back to this.

Absolutely loved it at the time, but I ended up moving on to other games and just drifted away from it. This would be a good excuse to climb back into my Titan one more time. :D

Also I assume we're expecting Titanfall 2 at E3 this year.

It's not the only format that's struggling - the Bone version has nobody playing it despite it being available (and all DLC) for a tenner at one point.
About 10pm last night and just over 3500 were on playing on all modes in the entire world. A shame.

It's free on PC now as well.
Season pass showed up as £21 or something, but when you add it to cart it goes through at £0.00.

I'm so playing this again tonight.

Titanfall: One year on

Battle of attrition - how Respawn's shooter has evolved, and how it plays today.

One year on, though, this is still one of the most electric and compelling FPS games around and a far better experience now than when it launched. It might not have the retention rate of decade-long franchises, but Respawn has built something special here, and promises to do so again, this time with both major consoles to play with. Your Titan is ready.

...which ties back to my central gripe about this otherwise great game: the fact it's essentially online only. Big, big mistake. No offline vs AI modes at all? All those useless DLC maps just sitting there, doing nothing when they could be enjoyed offline in bot mode. There is no excuse for this, except hubris on the part of the developer. It was - and is - arrogance (especially when you stop to consider just how little effort it would take to provide this mode since every game is populated with tons of AI grunts, anyway). :|

Once again: Killzone Shadow Fall did it right - a game I still play to this day thanks to excellent offline-only modes (on every map, including all the DLC maps).

Titanfall 2 can get stuffed if it's going to be online-only again. Christ - even Evolve, for god's sakes, has a thoroughly enjoyable offline-only mode.

Why don't you just stop being a pussy and play online?

Because I'm genuinely not very good at online games, and I never will be. Which is why I always - always - appreciate it when I can play MP maps offline against bots. It's such a shame Titanfall never had this mode - I really like the game, but I resent having to play it online or not at all.

You have to realise though, that players like you are very few and far between so not every game will cater for such a niche taste in mp.

I'm awful online, truly awful but if a game has great systems in place and a sense of progression ill keep playing because, believe it or not, you do get better, you're never gonna be amazing or anything but with practice you can become decent and being at that level puts you in good stead in objective type games where strategy and gunplay, can sway a game. You'll find the top TOP players rarely play CTF or King of the Hill because they dont rack up enough kills.

Conquest in B4 is great cos I can do very well just using my head rather than my less than stellar gun skills, Halo is the same as is TitanFall, the Variety Pack is the way to go.

Logical fallacy. You'll never be any good because you don't play online, not the other way around.

Yeah this game is fairly dead online, which I don't really understand. Is it the GTA/CoD effect? For me, Titanfall is a brilliant online game and the best new IP of this (admittedly disappointing) generation, but it's very sparsely populated.

Maybe we should get some GR games going?
