I didn't see the point in it before. I had no one to enjoy it with up until the last three years or so.

It's great, but I would not have enjoyed travelling on my own.

This! Yes another possible reason why people don't go I guess. But it does annoy me when friends of mine are like this and I'm trying to arrange a holiday and they are like meh and rather sit at home on their days off.

I really enjoy solo holidays actually. Just love going wherever I want and exploring. I can eat what I want so I genuinely don't mind going into restaurants alone.

I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt here and assume you're being genuine in your understanding of this situation.

What I would take from this is they don't want to go anywhere with you, hence the lack of commitment. They wait for you to book your own thing so they can then avoid where you will be.

Again, it's a really odd take. I enjoy going overseas on holiday but if I didn't, why would I do it just to seem interesting. It's not my place to tell people how to spend their money and their free time. I used to have a friend who got genuinely upset/annoyed that I kept going back to Japan and not trying other countries. I'll go where I want (or not at all) and it's nobody's business but mine. I'm in a position where I can afford to go overseas for a holiday after I graduate in the summer and you know what? I really don't want to. After so long at uni I genuinely want to just chill out at home, maybe go on a short break somewhere here in the UK. And here's the kicker. It literally doesn't impact anybody but myself.

Not weird at all.

Just boring and lazy.

Sainsbury's online orders system is strawberry floated, so it looks like my weekly shop won't be getting delivered today, and I'm not sure where else in the weekend I'm likely to find the time to get out to the big supermarket to do it instead. Gonna have to change all the meal plans now as well.

No contact from Sainsbury's either, presumably they've totally lost sight of all orders, so don't have details to make contact, and instead got to find out from the news after wondering why my payment hadn't been taken this morning like it normally would.

Uhh that's interesting. I got a text message saying my shopping should be here within this hour but I didn't get an email with my reciept.

I literally have no food in my house so hopefully it does turn up

Seriously though, just check if payments been taken. If it hasn't, then your order isn't coming. Could also check your nectar activity in the app if you use that.

Might be lucky and get some bonus Nectar points added to your card as way of an apology.
