N1FFF and his friend are really going to argue in a few years when The Last Of Us: The Musical opens.

Not a tantrum just asking him questions as I think it's very bizarre and annoying because he's a grown man and should just eat what he's given.

I'll keep this in mind if you're ever offered another cannabis edible

His friend really needs to do the right thing here and cook N1FFF a pizza with psilocybin mushroom toppings.

On the other hand you're not only "asking questions" when you're repeatedly expressing your distaste for that person's likes and dislikes and condemning them as childish for it. It's a bit toxic to minimise the strength or forcefulness of your own convictions whilst describing what you to believe to be the absurdity of someone else's.

Not sure if you notice that so thought I should just point it out. It's dichotomous / black & white thinking that doesn't generally serve you very well getting on with anyone.

I think of people on the spectrum who for example experience something akin to physical pain experiencing certain textures or flavours, but I'm actually with you, I eat 99% of things. I guess that's not very relevant because some kind of food related trauma seems unlikely here. I just don't really expect someone to have a massive go at their dog or cat for example, because they won't eat a brand of pet food. They just won't.

The interesting thing is you say you were annoyed and that someone annoyed you in the same sentence. Do people just do annoying things, or are we annoyed?

I just saved you a year in therapy. But if you want to be annoyed, I guess that's alright.

I have an Indonesian coach and he jokes "don't be an Asian at a buffet" (of course he makes that joke being himself Asian). There's no point taking 10 plates of something if you can always go back and get more but yeah I guess the English expression is "your eyes are bigger than your stomach".

Americans are terrible for this. They ALWAYS make themselves a large plate of fruit that sits in between them, and that goes totally untouched while they sit and eat scrambled eggs with bacon (that the also don't finish).

Can't stand people acting like little kids when it comes to food.

Imagine having personal preferences for things. If I was out and someone harassed me to just like something I don't like that would be fairly solid grounds to tell them that they have no authority on what i like or don't like or do or do not have to do, furthermore they can go strawberry float themselves and would never talk to them again.

The only person he was getting strawberry floated by that night was MJ.

Very interesting I appreciate the time you have taken to post that. I guess if I think of someone's dislike of food as pain then it's easier to feel sorry for them. And in general this will help me get along with people better and leave me feeling less annoyed ha

It's ok I don't normally act like this to anyone. He just deserved it as he was giving me a lot of grief all weekend so I felt like picking on him.
