That's another thing I liked on both Nitro & Raw - the hours were segmented. On Raw it turned into the War Zone & got ruder, whereas on Nitro they set the pyro off & brought out the Nitro Girls.

Bleh, I don't know if I can be bothered with torrents. I did keep up with the guy who uploaded them up until late '97 when I stopped bothering.

Looks like Scott Steiner is about to enter his White Thunder period.

Have I missed a PPV? I'm thinking it's been ages(in WWE terms) since the last time there was one.

There was The Bash on the 28th June. Next one is Night of Champions on Sky Box Office (26th July).

Thanks again Rog. I watched it the other day actually having not seen it live, and I thought it was a decent show albeit most of the undercard was pretty bland (the finish in JBL/Cena was well done in spite of the horrendous storyline). The Rumble itself was pretty enjoyable though.

As an aside, on the extras they have the promo from the night after with Shane O'Mac's infamous force punches, and on the DVD the fade the segment out before the brawl has left the ring. Presumably there was no way they could edit it to make it look somewhat acceptable.

So, what do folks think we'll see at tonight's Victory Road?

MEM take home all the gold? Taz debuts? Joe and Taz turn on MEM?

Jenna and Sharmell will put on a match for the ages?

MEM take home all the gold, Taz joins MEM and Jenna wins by submission?

I think there'll be some kind of swerve with Taz and Joe, at leats somewhere down the line, if not tonight. It just doesn't fit in with Joe's character that all he's after is money. And the whole 'adviser' storyline really had it's pay off when Joe helped Angle win the title, so why continue it, and in such an obvious direction?

I think MEM will likely take home all the gold. I kind of suspect something will be teased by the end of Angle/Foley though regarding Joe and Taz, who, surely, must be after the belt?

I think The British Invasion will win, and I think Tara will lose the championship to Angelina. I reckon Nash, Book/Steiner will win. I reckon Angle will win, but something will go down. I think Joe will win by nefarious means. And I think Sharmell will win, putting Jenna's position (and thus money) at stake.

I think Daniels will beat Morgan in a competitive match. And I think Abyss will get some serious revenge on Dr Stevie.

For the past several years, Perry Saturn has been absent from the limelight. The former WCW and WWE wrestler has effectively disappeared; no one has publicly confirming his whereabouts.Fans thought they caught a break this week when a Twitter account, entitled "RealPerrySaturn" hit the web. With the opening comment, "That's right folks, moppy finally convince me to get a twitter page. Wish me luck," the account was believable enough to start return speculation on message boards. F4WOnline.com adds that some WWE wrestlers were also convinced the account was legitimate and that Saturn had resurfaced. As of press time, however, the former wrestler does not appear to be involved with the account. Chris Jericho tweeted the user a question referencing Saturn's days with the WAR promotion--"what did u call the fat young boy in WAR? What was his nickname?"--and never received a response. Given that Saturn would have been able to answer the question instantly, the going belief right now is that the account is a fake.
