The crowd were kind of gooseberry fool throughout the whole show though. Definitely could have been done better though, for sure. Evolution were actually not bad back in the day. If only Flair didn't look like he was rapidly decomposing by the second, the crowd would have probably been more into it if he had been there.

Have you seen the wrestling doc Beyond the Mat?he features a fair bit, hes had a terrible personal life. Hints at topping himself so I doubt much has changed.

That explains why Impact has been getting progressively worse over the last month or so.

I do share his obsession with The Beautiful People, though. :datass:

I have no idea what they are really talking about. To me he was just like any other wrestler. Gave some decent promos and had a snake. Don't see the big deal tbh.

A vulgar display of ignorance.

Yeah but I thought he might cheer up a bit for his induction. He does at the end. I did like his talk though, just very sad.

Sad? I think he was at peace more than anything. I'd say he used to be in denial but not anymore. Very happy for him.

Because everyone knows he's had a hard life and a lot of people want to hear that he's turned a corner - myself included. I'd rather someone spoke about the journey that brought them to the Hall of Fame than describing something I could go back and watch on the WWE Network.

Yeah he talks about not wanting to commit suicide, about wanting to be able to wrestle but he can't, how wrestling was the only thing he loved. He begged for death, etc.

How about talking about his best feuds, some colourful stories?

The hall of fame isn't about cutting promos. It's about life after the business. For Jake and Scott anyway. For YEARS Jake was the prime example people would use for "wrestlers institutionalised by the business". Beyond the Mat and the drama The Wrestler were pretty much centered around his shitheap of a life at that time so for him to get out of that and then cut promos about wrestling feuds would be greatly disingenuous. He was honest, humble and spoke from the heart and was the star of the night IMO.

Don't worry Manny. You can both think of me, thinking about Velvet.

Oh I am more than capable of doing that. But if it is all the same to you, I will just think about you.

Does anybody have a quick guide on how to get access to the WWE network? Without looking into it in too much detail it's not available currently in the UK so I'm guessing it's some kind of proxy?

Btw, long time no speak all! :P

When I did it I put in a US address on my account on the WWE site, then paid using PayPal. I'm not 100% sure but I think after that the on demand stuff works fine, but you need a VPN to watch the live stream. I use Unblock US for that.

You still get the "not available from your location" stuff on demand sometimes but you can bypass it with a plugin like Hola and then disable the plugin again so it loads faster.
Which is strawberry floating great because it means I don't have to pay for Unblockus until I really want to see a ppv live
