Rather like Rey Mysterio, I thought the Hardy's were great in the 90s/early 00s. Putting on a shambolic main event for paying customers soured me considerably.

Why is HiaC starting at half 11 our time?

Is there a pre-show this time? It starts earlier because the clocks go back on Saturday night.

RAW's also starting at 12am for us. I look forward to the increased banter between me & 1 other person. Before they strawberry float off at 1 because Kofi Kingston vs. Miz (again) has gone 43 and a half minutes.

It's almost like the WWE is trolling you for the abuse over the years. There's a swerve coming, though, as I fully expect KKLEIN to be announced as the next part-time temporary interim special guest caretaker general manager of Monday Night Raw.

On the other hand, Victory Road was the strangest thing I've ever watched live (not in person) as a wrestling fan.

I still chuckle how Sting managed to hit a Scorpion Death Drop...in what was essentially a shoot

Hmm not great that they lost 600k viewers for Ryback's match.

In fact the whole of Raw didn't feel built around Ryback at all, it felt like the focus was on Cena vs Punk. Almost like they picked up the wrong script again.

Not only that the show went down to a 2.1 in Q10, that's horrendous.

I'm annoyed that ratings are so poor coz I can only think that in years to come it will be blamed on cm punk being champ and how no one cared blah blah.

A 2.1? Jesus. That's horrid.

They probably will blame it on that, when to be honest this latest slump is purely down to the 3 hours in my opinion. It is too much to ask people to stick with a show for 3 hours these days. Life has too many distractions right in your own living room these days for that sort of show to be viable.

So people will start to drop out during boring shows, then they are unlikely to come back the following week because they have found something better to do and it will be too much effort to try and pick up the story again.

I'm clinging to the hope that Linda loses the upcoming election and WWE are allowed to let loose creatively again as they are too 'vanilla' at the moment.

Haven't seen any wrestling since Night of Champions due to missing one Raw, then another etc

Been keeping spoiler free ever since (though it's probably not been worth it) and should hopefully have caught up with the 6 Raws I have to watch before Sunday.

Miss the banter of the thread so it'll be fun to get back in here.

I really do believe that WWE turning people away from their programming just turns people off wrestling altogether.

I dunno, KKLEIN made a good point that the Aces & Eights reveal at Bound For Glory did put the spotlight on the old-timers once again, and now Hardy is champion (plus RVD is X Division Champ). Could be the beginning of a bad run.
