And then swerve away from what you were expecting.

Obviously... but there's nothing wrong with a bit of predictability sometimes.

Ricardo was brilliant. In fact, I loved the Rumble match this year.

I really enjoyed the rumble this year, Ricky Rod was amazing, and i got a good chuckle at all 3 commentators entering, even Michael Cole made me laugh.

My one major complaint about it is Orton eliminating Barrett so easily, completly buried him there (also his new theme music sucks)

Rhodes was the star of the rumble for me though, hope him or Ziggler wins the Mitb at wrestlemania

I think tonight we'll see Jericho come out doing his usual "yeah yeah" and pandering to the crowd for a bit before him doing a massive heel turn, maybe Punk will come out to join in or something then Jericho will attack him or something odd.

I can also still see Jericho vs Punk for the title at Mania, maybe they'll have Sheamus challenge Big Show or Mark Henry at 'Mania for the World Championship assuming one of them takes it from Bryan by then building Sheamus up as a monster killer.

If they weren't pissing about making him look crap every week then a Drew Mcintyre vs Wade Barrett vs Sheamus (England vs Scotland vs Ireland) match at 'mania could've been a good gimmick if they gave Barett the title between now and Mania and then got the three feuding.

What happened with McIntye? He seemed to go from being a potential top star with a big push to now being a running joke.. did he piss off management or fail a drugs test or something or is this part of a plan leading to him "snapping" before returning to his winning ways?

Based on what we've seen, I'm fairly certain Jerichos "trolling" is a thing of the past. I have absolutely no idea what they're going to do with him.

I think Orton will win the title at elimination chamber, to set up an Orton vs Sheamus match at mania

With McIntyre its something his ex wife did that pissed off management and now he's paying the price for it, which is a shame as he looked really good at the elimination chamber last year :(

Classic losing streak for McIntyre.

He just needs to be looking to ride it out and come out at the other side.

Sort of like The Matt Hardy Test. So long as he doesn't make youtube videos of himself eating grapes in a swimming pool and bitch about jobbing on twitter, I'm sure he'll be onto a winner in a few months.

Hopefully Orton turns heel and goes after Taker. Then he wont steal the WHC limelight from Sheamus and Trips can bugger off 8-)

I think they mentioned on the LAW that Sheamus was the original winner until Jericho's return and Orton's injury/comeback. So it's not just doing it as a swerve.

We probably should have seen Sheamus's win coming, after that battleroyal.

One of the other proposed finishes was having Cena win and having to decide between fighting The Rock or having a title match at 'Mania

Imagine the rage if that happened. strawberry floating hell

If Sheamus is challenging for the World Title - which has to be the most likely - it'll be the opener or something of WrestleMania. This stipulation of going on to "main event" the show is pure rubbish. There's various possibilities on the SmackDown side though. Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan/Big Show/Mark Henry/Randy Orton/Wade Barrett, or a combination.

I guess the WWE Championship match with either be CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho or The Rock vs. John Cena.

It was the next logical step for him after that.
