Given by how it's been dominating my thoughts for the past three days, I think this week's Raw may have had its best five minutes of the year. Road Dogg, then that fuck-up montage, Punk and then the awe-inspiring Johnny Ace tribute. I've had both Road Dogg's theme and The Touch swimming around my head constantly, that was just an incredibly entertaining five minutes. Shame it was surrounded by a whole lot of gooseberry fool.

There really is quite a cross-over with darts & wrestling, particularly with fans (and I keep hearing it's the same for UFC). The characters, video packages, presentation, rivalries (which Sky like to play up to the max), the dancers, entrance music, signs, commentators, the raucous crowds...
Even Prizefighter on Sky Sports bears an uncanny resemblance to RAW from the early 90s.
They now 'get it' more than the WWE does.
