Again. How come Orton's booked as a face when he keeps doing heel stuff? :fp:

Should have booked Orton vs. A paper bag. Winner faces Mark Henry in a Viagra on a poll match.

And Orton fueds with heels too. The problem is not that Orton does stuff you'd expect from a heel, the problem is that too many of the faces do.

Well Steve Austin was cheered as a heel so things were altered so Austin was only doing the stuff he did because Vince constantly tried to screw him out of the WWF title. Orton punts people in the head & tries to end their career. He assaulted Rhodes for pretty much no reason. The whole character doesn't really have any purpose to it, other than he's a Robin Ethics mental case who's hearing voices in his head.

Point of this video? CROWD HEAT.

Something this PPV has been greatly missing in large part.

The crowd have been pretty dead tonight in my opinion. Granted the action hasn't been amazing....but they didn't even seem to make noise for the likes of Punk and HHH. God knows what they'll be like during the Show/Henry match...unless the ring does break of course

I think Orton is meant to be like a vigilante character in that he is a reckless, violent asshole who goes around beating up other bad guys.

Got to give it to WCW fans in the 90s. You could give them Hacksaw Duggan against Barbarian in the most boring match imaginable and they'd still blow the roof off.

I think the writers are idiots who don't know what to do with him. Since turning him face against Legacy, he's pretty much got by just on the fact he's consistently put on really good performances in the ring rather than any interesting storyline and the odd excellent opponent.
