Well at the very least it was good for Henry get a world title after 15 years of service for the company.

Apart from that :|

When people are saying they should keep the belt on Henry for 6 months you know the company is in the shitter

I can understand where the joe/angle comments are going but Henry can't wrestle, he never has been able to and never will be able to. Henry isn't in the same league as Joe. Hell, buy out Joe's contract, have in come in as a monster, win the title out right and put on a blockbuster at Wrestlemania with Daniels

What am I saying? This is the WWF, if you're not one of the homegrown or have be successful in another organisation good luck with getting there quickly

Why? I'm not saying he couldn't be in a good title or champion program with stars-alligned quality booking, but why does he deserve to have a title run?

I hate the idea that length of service should directly result in a world title run.

Why? He's not been good enough for 15 years... why now?

Curt Hennig had 20+ years across WCW and WWF, was one of the greatest wrestlers ever, but never won a world title. It doesn't change the fact that he is still one of the greatest wrestlers ever.

So tell me again, why does Mark Henry "deserve" to hold the Diluted World Title? For me he deserves it just about as much as The Great Khali.

Furthermore, find me one fan... ONE FAN who will be standing outside an arena waiting to watch WWE who'll say "DUUUUUDE! Can't wait to see Mark Henry tonight!". Because you wont.

Let's not forget the first ten of those fifteen years were guaranteed from the off. With that kind of tenure I probably wouldn't leave either.

I feel the title run is more of an excuse to justify that initial contract he got aswell.

Luckily I'm working until 2am tonight so hopefully I'll be too tired to watch RAW after last night.

If Henry never won the title, his whole "monster" push would not of been worth anything. In makes business sense to have Henry as the champion and those saying it's stupid are clearly delusional. You need a good heel champion, one that is not cocky or cheeky like Rio/Miz, you need a monster. Tell me who else on the roster fits that bill at the moment? No-one, it offers different mixes of match ups and Henrys reign will probably be about putting over someone new, it doesn't make sense for him to feud again and again with Orton.

The problem at the moment is that the internet fans have had their way and we have an over abundence of "small" guys dominating the industry. There is no reason the big guys can't entertain and they have been a staple of the industry right from the start. Henry has been the best character on Smackdown for a number of months now and deserves the title from that perspective. His matches I also think have been standouts from the last few months and PPVs. Sometimes it is good to just see someone go on a run and decimate all the other big guys.

This. Just like his title win, his performance over the past few months is the culmination of his career.

To be fair, since his most recent heel turn and move to Smackdown, Henry has been fantastic.

Soooooo, anyone figure out why R-Truth & Miz ran in? They beat up both CM Punk & Triple H, & then put Punk on HHH. Then later on Punk had the match won, referee was counting & then they broke that up as well. I mean, what was their purpose here, end it in a No Contest? But even if they did want to do that, why put Punk on Triple H?

A patented Nitro finish if ever there was one. Surprised Nash didn't pin Punk to end the match it became so stupid.

That was pretty much my reaction when Cena won.

Would

The way it looked I was certain Del Rio was going to get out of that STF. But no, that can't happen.
