Recap of the WrestleMania Press Conference earlier today:

- The Miz was next, and he said he would retain his belt because he's awesome.
- John Cena then cut a promo while fans drowned him out with chants for The Rock as well as "same old gooseberry fool."
- Snooki then talked about Lay-Cool and said the name of her team was the "Brunette Mafia".
- The Rock then spoke as everyone chanted "one more match" and "fruity pebbles". Snooki asked if she could get a photo with Rock and Cena together. They take the photo then engage in a staredown.
- Vince McMahon was not present for the event.

The Rock also supposedly treated the fans waiting in line by pulling up and saying he was gonna kick some ass at 'Mania.

UK Ratings for the week ending 20th March 2011
TNA iMPACT! garnered 157,000 (down from 163,000 the previous week) on Challenge; 157,000 also tuned in to TNA Victory Road on Wednesday night; 156,000 watched WWE RAW Live; and 173,000 tuned in to WWE SmackDown over two airings.
According to Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline, the latest Matt Hardy video on YouTube (that he quickly pulled) was 'very topical given other social media-related events'. Wrestling community - not liking the gays.

Watched the first 50 minutes or so of iMPACT! from Challenge the other night. I thought the comment by Hogan at the start in which he said to Stone Cold Steve Anderson 'you can do things the hard way or the easy way' was practically identical to the line Vince McMahon used the night after WrestleMania 14, in which Austin was presented with the WWF Title. Also on the nostalgia front, when Bischoff & Hogan came out to the nWo theme song, & grabbed two signs from the crowd, that was straight out of Nitro. Vince Russo then got a mention from RVD (WCW), numerous references to "The Network" (ECW) & one interruption was followed by another...and another...and then yet another. Second week in a row they needed two segments to cover their promo.
What on earth was going on with that extended Shaky-Cam House Show video? And boy did RVD look an utter moron when talking to Hogan backstage. Hogan told him Bischoff was high on Anderson, but earlier in the ring (in which RVD himself interrupted) Bischoff had claimed Hogan was the one high on Anderson. RVD then left & Hogan laughed. I can only presume RVD doesn't watch the show he's on. But he obviously was watching in storyline, as he confronted Anderson for the remarks he made towards him at the start. Conclusion? In story line RVD is an idiot.

Pretty stoked for Mania now. It's a good card and should make for a great event. Only two matches on the card don't have much potential to be great (the tag matches) everything else could end up stealing the show. Cena/Miz should and hopefully will main event, people want to see Rock more than they want to see the fate of the streak.
Also I think we'll see some kind of backstage interaction between Austin and Rock.
