Orton should just use the Evolution theme, because simply put it was all kinds of awesome.

Went to TNA live in Birmingham yesterday and the show was really good. Seeing Team 3D doing the 3D on James Storm through a table was the highlight and seeing Kurt Angle, Jeff Jarret and Scott Steiner for the first time was also a fantastic moment.

From JR's Blog:

Mr. McMahon got pretty banged up from being punted by Randy Orton Monday night. Word has it the Chairman may have sustained a concussion (unconfirmed) but he did receive a cut either on or above his ear from RKO's boot laces. Ouch.

And on the state of the current product...

Seems like most TV wrestling shows are striving to what is perceived to be a balance between wrestling and "entertainment." Silly me, I thought wrestling was entertainment. Short wrestling matches and lots of "cute" talk is a recipe for failure in my estimation. But then again I could be wrong.

No doubt a knock on Raw & iMPACT.

That's the thing about Orton's 'punt' - it's one of those moves that's very difficult to execute without hurting the recipient and thus looking very fake indeed. So he does basically kick people in the face, which can obviously go very wrong very easily.

Moving on from the RR what do you guys think the card is going to be like for WM25? obviously there going to have to go all out seeing as how it's the silver aniversary an'all

Alot of internet speculation is heading towards a HBK v Undertaker match which i'm all for MR WRESTLEMANIA V THE STREAK then there will be another money in the bank but i can't see where there going regarding title matches ATM i'm 99% Orton will main event for the title weither that will be against Cena remains to be seen then theres Austin with him being in the HOF this year I can't see him not being apart of WM25 in someway maybe another guest ref deal?

Looks like TNA are considering doing a PPV in the UK:

TNAWrestling.com wrote:TNA To Hold A Pay-Per-View In England?" "COVERAGE OF TNA'S ONGOING TOUR OF THE UK - DIXIE CARTER ANNOUNCES NEGOTIATIONS TO HOLD A LIVE PAY-PER-VIEW IN ENGLAND IN 2009!"

This would be the first proper Pay Per View event since Summerslam 1992.

I hated it with a passion.

But his new music is so bad it makes me want the old song back. :x

Aren't you the guy who just hates Orton in general?

I don't flat-out hate the guy, it's just that every aspect of his character bores me to no end. He's generic in every sense of the word, yet he's got a loyal fan-base and is pushed to the very top of the card. Saying that, he has improved quite a bit in recent months, and at times has been entertaining - the slaps and punts are pretty damn fun to watch.

It's just not well-suited for use as an entrance theme, although it could be vastly improved with a little remix. The new Priceless song has become my #1 most hated theme, however.

I'm not sure if this should be believed or not. It might well be the case that they're searching for a location for a British PPV, but at the glasgow show last night, Dixie (who by the way, looks great from far away, and from behind 8-) ) gave us fans the same line about "being in negotiations to hold a ppv in Scotland". So either they are, or this is just one of the many things they say to get the fans going.

By the way, the show was great. BIggest personal pops being, beer money, velvet sky, foley, angle, aj, and the big bad booty, scotty steiner! TNA show, was by far, better than any WWE show i've been to. And not just because I prefer the product.

Two great PPVs are No Way Out & Backlash 2000. The crowd are going bananas at the end when Stone Cold returns.

WrestlingObserver wrote:As noted earlier, referee Mickey Henson was recently released by World Wrestling Entertainment. Henson had taken a leave absence due to a health related issue. It is now coming out that Henson is suffering from lymphoma, a form of cancer. Henson had largely kept his illness quiet, only telling a few friends (including Batista, who he is close to), along with John Laurinaitis and Vince McMahon. WWE reportedly promised Henson employment while he battled cancer since he didn't have health insurance.

Going on the basis of the last bit, that's an incredibly low thing to do.

WrestlingObserver wrote:Perhaps the main reason World Wrestling Entertainment laid off a number of employees this month is because Vince McMahon himself believes the economy is going to take a turn for the worst this year, mainly due to his negative reaction to Barack Obama winning the United States presidential election. McMahon has been telling people he expects unemployment to hit 10% by the end of the year. While the economic woes haven't greatly impacted his company thus far, the cuts were made in preparation for what he expects to happen.

That was the peak of Soccer AM's post-Lovejoy existance. Velvet Sky + LEEDS SHIRT = amaze.

Aside from the utter shitfest which had been the completely retarded Sarah Palin skits over the past few weeks, it is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE for anything involving The Beautiful People to be gooseberry fool.
