That's a strong rating. I wonder how many of them thought The Rock would be on it and now won't tune in next week as they feel lied to.

Probably why they set up Taker-HHH

Got through a lot of Undisputed in quite a short time. Man, Jericho is a pretty damn good writer. (Even if he has a Ghostwriter helping...)

Wonder how much Vince is throwing at Rock to get him to appear next week?

The contempt with which both WCW & THQ used to advertise their videogames here in the UK:

Yes, they are indeed screenshots from WCW vs. nWo: World Tour on the N64. Using Aki's Revenge to promote Thunder, with screenshots from World Tour, and an advertising slogan from WCW circa 1997.

All the post-Revenge WCW games were pretty bad.

I was on holiday last week so have just caught up with things. Quite liked John Cena's rap on Raw. I don't actually have any problem with the guy as long as he isn't constantly in the title picture, but that can be said of anyone.

Are there any matches in particular worth checking out from the PPV?

And I missed Grapl, and at least 15 points by my calculations. Totally forgot EC was last weekend. :(

Wrestling Observer Newsletter wrote:Undertaker and in particular, Triple H, are putting their program for WrestleMania together, with minimal input from the Creative team. The back story on this, since Undertaker was originally going to face Wade Barrett and Sheamus had been groomed for HHH, was that the two got together and realized that Mania as it was originally laid out had no special match. They felt involving Shawn Michaels in a storyline with HHH made far more sense than with anyone else, and as the company’s two most powerful political forces, felt they could take control of their own angle without much in the way of outside influence.

Sheamus spent months bragging about ending Hunter's career and the original King of the Ring win was meant to set up a King of the Ring vs. King of Kings match. But instead, it's led to nothing. Nexus took out Undertaker in the Buried Alive match and there was supposed to be a storyline explaining why this happened to build to a Unddertaker vs. Wade Barrett match.

Dunno about Taker/Barrett, but I can easily see Triple H & Sheamus having a match on Raw, & getting it over and done with - especially if they wanted to bury Sheamus in some way. I mean things don't get much worse than jobbing out to Mark Henry, for literally no reason at all. There's talk Sheamus has done something backstage, but no specifics. Realistically if they've given up on Sheamus, that's two people (the other being Zolph Ziggler) in quick succession they've failed to elevate. Who's next, Miz? Okay, fair enough if they drop the ball with Miz (highly likely), but if they manage to screw up Del Rio I'll have completely lost faith in the Federation to ever build any main event stars.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter wrote:It’s been said that Vince McMahon is in love with the Michael Cole angle, because he is living vicariously through Cole. Most of Cole’s key lines on television are fed by McMahon.

I think this is something that's been becoming increasingly obvious over the last few months - with it becoming really apparent on two separate occasions; at the Rumble with Striker, & then on Raw with R-Truth forgetting that he wasn't in Green Bay.

I suppose those story lines could be resolved on a Raw or Smackdown, but with 5 weeks or so till 'Mania i imagine they'll spend their time hyping up the 'Taker-Hunter match. If it is a career vs streak match and HHH loses, it means he'll never get the chance to deal with Sheamus and post Wrestlemania i can't see Undertaker being around long enough to feud properly with Barrett and the Corre.

I hate what they're doing to Sheamus. With talks of the likes of HHH,Taker, Edge, Rey, Kane, etc or leaving potentially sometime this year, they're gonna need guys like Sheamus to step up to the main event scene but fans will find it hard to take him serious as a main eventer if he's getting buried by the likes of Mark Henry every week. I cannot believe that story that WWE gave him that awful KOTR gear because that Kevin Dunn wants him to look as stupid as possible :x

I'm debating whether to get Breaking the Code. I need to complete my Jericho trilogy but I'm not sure I can spare £18. :(

TNA Spoiler concerning returning wrestler:

Steve "Sting" Borden is backstage at today's TNA "iMPACT! taping in Fayetteville, North Carolina. However, it is not known what his role at the event will be. Word is that they will reveal Sting as a challenger to world champion Jeff Hardy, and start an angle that will carry over to the Victory Road PPV on March 13th.

Borden has re-signed with the organization.

BORING. :(
