WWE have officially announced the following DVDs for 2011:

Best of WCW Nitro - 1995 to 1997 with same 4 disc format as Best of Raw.
Goldberg - 3 Disc set with documentary and matches. Will probably be the same interview they filmed for Rise & Fall of WCW.
DX - 4 disc set with documentary and matches (they really are taking the piss with these DX tapes, now)
History of Wrestlemania - 2 to 3 disc set with documentary and matches.
A Giant's World - A 3 disc set on the Big Show.
Triple H: I Bury All And Sundry - 3 disc set.

Just two years?

What i thought was odd about the end of the show was having Cena hug Cole and not King or Lawler. Seemed to go against the whole persona that they are trying to build for Cole.

Anyway. Overall i can't really rate the ppv as i watched it on extreme fastforward at my brothers house as he ordered it and i didn't have time to actually sit down and watch it. So typical that bloody Rey's team had to win the elimination match. Seriously Show and Rey were the last two standing after their match on SD why have them victorious again? has Rey ever lost an elimination tag match. I'm sure he manages to survive ever one of these types of matches.

Also R-Truth is still a douche.

I guess they'll follow it up with another 4 disc set for the rest of 1997 to September 1999. Which is actually perfect, because it completely avoids the Vince Russo era.

Then a worst of WCW set from October 99 - March 2001 hopefully. Day one.

History of Wrestlemania - 2 to 3 disc set with documentary and matches

This could be interesting if they get the balance right.

Also is the HHH DVD title real?

Bryan/DiBiase - Bryan is SO good. Every match he's in gets the crowd going without any trouble. He brought the best out of Dolph and he definitely brought the best out of DiBiase here. Both men did very well here.

Sheamus/JoMo - Decent enough match, crowd weren't into it much though.

R-Truth is a douche, a kayfabe douche too :x

Dolph/Kaval - I think I heard Cole's commentary echo at one point. Good match though.

Team Rey/Team Del Rio - Cody's hissy-fit was AMAZING  Good enough match but I was expecting Del Rio to come back at the end.

Kane/Edge - Only fussed about the result of this one. Bit of a cop out but the feud wasn't going to end here anyway.

Tag match - Skipped it

Cena Show (Orton/Barrett) - Decent match. Liked the ending, not sure what's going to happen now though :?

If there's one thing that shows the current lack of interest in WWE at the moment its that there's hardly been any talk after traditionally one of the biggest ppvs of the year.

I wonder where they will go from here though. For me barratt has to win the title at the next ppv otherwise they might as well scrap the group as they've ultimately failed.

Delighted they've officially confirmed the Nitro set, I'm so pre-ordering that sucker as soon as. I will buy the Goldberg set too.

Also, Botchamania pleasure overload today. 3 new episodes out:

The ending of 151 -

I think it could be a bad sign for the WWE, as the hardcore were the only ones still purchasing these things. Survivor Series is supposed to be one of their big 4 shows - now it just feels that unless it's Royal Rumble or WrestleMania, all the other PPVs are all on even footing. It's just nostalgics like us that still regard the heritage.

Hopefully next year they'll come up with something half decent as it's the 25th Anniversary.

Survivor series is pointless, when bragging rights has the same sort of concept. I found the raw vs smackdown concept decent when it was done in 2005 at Survivor Series. They also need to bring back king of the ring as a PPV.
