That will only give me a day to get my predictions in due to my champion restrictions, you know i like to sit there and over analyse them for at least 2 days!!! :x

Also i wonder what will happen with Jericho, i can't see him winning the title at NOC so that will mean he has to quit however he then made that statement on RAW that he won't leave until he unearths the identity of the RAW GM. So if Jericho will likely be gone sometime very soon i assume that means we are only weeks away from discovering the identity of the RAW GM. I'm expecting to be very disappointed.

Oddly, I think I'd rather watch an older, shitter Wrestlemania nobody talked about and I think I might fall in love with it. Hmmm.

In time, I'm sure I'll lose my non-caring for X-7 which undoubtedly had a great card.

So what are your favourite WWE PPVs of all time then?

Along with X7, mine are Royal Rumble 2001, King of the Ring 1998 and Wrestlemania XX.

King of the Ring 2001 is a favourite. Shane vs. Kurt

My five favourites:

Wrestlemania X-7
The Royal Rumble 2001
The Royal Rumble 2000
Wrestlemania XX
Summerslam 2001

2001 was an amazing year for PPVs, IMO. The four showpieces, The Rumble, Mania, Summerslam and Survivor Series were phenomenal.

EDIT: And King of the Ring! That was my favourite KOTR. I also really enjoyed the Invasion PPV, but I don't know how many others did. That angle had so much more potential than it used.

I would pretty much agree with all of the above. I too enjoyed the invasion ppv, which i believe is wwe's highest grossing none WM ppv or something. I knew very little about WCW at that time so i wasn't let down by the lack of their big names, i suppose those who did watch WCW would have been very disappointed by it. Although there were lots of opportunities missed with the invasion i don't think it was that bad, i started out amazingly and i agree it did slowly die, but i still enjoyed it.

I don't think I've ever enjoyed the entirety of a PPV. :fp:

Also Team RECK facing off for the KOTR title and the main event between Jericho, Benoit and Austin was good.

Yeah 2001 was awesome. Basically every PPV that year was golden. No Way Out was ridiculously good but often goes unnoticed, as do Unforgiven and Vengeance.

From the older events, WMX would be up there along with WMVI. Summerslam and Survivor Series 1992 were both great as well.

Backlash 2001 was a belter as well. Austin and Hunter vs Kane and The Undertaker!

One of the many reasons why X7 is the best 'Mania ever:

Best. Hype. Video. Ever.

What a video. Does anyone know the PPV where Austin beat Hunter in a 2 out of 3 falls match ?

I remember being completely disinterested in the show going in. Coming off 99 & 2000, I thought this had a seriously weak main event. At that point there was also no one left to cheer. Stone Cold had turned his back on everyone, Triple H (who the fans got behind massively the following night on Raw) also solidified his position as heel, & The Rock had left too.

Obviously though it'll always be remembered for Shane McMahon's incredible jump of doom & the silly William Regal/Chris Jericho match.

Two of my favourite PPVs are Survivor Series 1998 & 2002. Both had me hooked from start to finish. The match quality for 1998 wasn't very good, but it was such gripping television it didn't matter. I don't think anyone saw the final twist coming, especially as Austin had just been eliminated & screwed out of his win (thus the nod to the 1997 SS over & done with).

The NXT burial continues...from the WWE. MVP has posted this on Twitter:

Twitter wrote:NXT is awful. I'll be glad when it's ALL over!

They must have decided to kill it off, completely...otherwise this is one bizarre way to sell it to potential broadcasters.

I still remember marking out like crazy when Rock hit Austin with the Stunner on RAW. This was before the days where wrestlers doing each others finishers was a common thing.

Truly the best. Perfect hype video. Never bettered, though the Mania 19 Rock-Austin video was also goosebump-inducing.

As far as my favourite PPVs go, obviously Mania X7, and then rounding out the top five;

Royal Rumble 2001
Summerslam 2002
Survivor Series 2002
Backlash 2007
