Raw

- Batista kicks off Raw in his typically awesome style. Bret Hart as GM was a great surprise too, good segment. Batista is hilarious
- Mark Henry Vs Sheamus for a place in the Fatal Four Way, I wonder who's going to win this
- The more time Jericho, Hart and Edge spend in the same room, the better. Jericho's bit at the end was great then Cole ignored it on commentary before the break :|
- Bret Hart vacated the US title as expected and now it's Miz vs R-Truth for that title. This just screams DiBiase related non-finish and that's exactly what didn't happened :fp: strawberry float off R-Truth :x What the strawberry float kind of shitty finish is that, he just hits a forearm (barely) then spins mid-air
- I skipped the Cena Promo and Lovitz bullshit until Santino showed up. It wasn't long before I start fast-forwarding again.
- Hart Dynasty picked up an easy win then this new tag team showed up! A new.... tag... team? I'm watching WWE right?
- Wade Barret is great, he has great potential. Loved that they showed the Bryan/Cole confrontation, Cole is such a little bitch and I will definitely be watching NXT.
- Triple threat was alright, they tried some cool stuff but it was botched unfortunately. Edge won cleanly which I think means there were no bullshit endings this week unless some misreable sod wants to count Orton/Batista. Good show that ended with a great shot of all three men.

Same. They haven't completely lost their minds, then!

Batista: "You can all kiss. my. ass." Brilliant.

And he called Cena, John Lita. Probably best he has quit.

Bret as new gm

I'm going to need a video of Maryse this week. Her French accent is so hot beyond words.

Anyone notice that at Over the Limit it was a face whitewash of results? :fp:

The guy who took his eyeball out is one of the WWE writers (the second week in a row someone from the writing team has been on air). Just like Vince Russo, I see they've now resorted to getting themselves over instead of the talent...

"Ah strawberry float it, lets put ourselves in these segments".

Better them than the future of the company.

It is worrying though. There's only The Miz, that I can think of, who is ready and waiting in the wings to step up to the World Heavyweight scene.

I was positive on Maryse last night. You just like to selective read.

And it's not my fault their programming is a load of epic amounts of garbage. It's not my fault ECW was axed because the WWE don't know what they're doing. It's not my fault NXT has been a complete failure. It's not my fault the PPV buys are in the gutter. It's not my fault the ratings are going down the tubes every week. It's not my fault they're doing 20 minute segments with unfunny celebrities you've never even heard of. It's not my fault TNA is a walking disaster. It's not my fault Vince Russo's still got a strawberry floating job. It's not my fault WRESTLING IS A LOAD OF gooseberry fool.

When did Maryse get so hot, seriously?

I remember her stupid videos of her in the jacuzzi when she was first getting ready to join. They were totally not sexy, but now, she's gone into sexalicious overdrive!

I don't know why I watch WWE; there's about 2 guys I like in the entire company. Ones on Smackdown (Punk) and the other doesn't get used as much as he should (Jericho).

I think I watch it to justify my bitching about it; can't complain if you don't watch and 97% of the product does make me depressed and annoyed at this is what so many people think is what wrestling really is

What Wrestling really is is never on telly anymore sadly.

It irks me that the odd time you actually do get it, but both TNA and WWE are full of filler bullshit that pushes that good stuff so far down.

It's why I watch so much indy, whatever storyline is done with short promos (the internet has been brilliant for this, has helped so many indies get their work across) and in ring work, the weekly wrestling shows really drag products down for me - RoH started going down hill when Adam Pearce took over and it watered the product down by forcing drawn out matches and storylines when it went to HDnet tv shows (RoH was never known for DQs or ring outs, but these started happening every show just so they could justify re-doing the match another 2-3 times. If two workers work so well together, then we don't need a bullshit reason, just let them fooking wrestle! )

I think I need tio stick with just watching PPVs without the story line stuff in between and I might start to re-enjoying wwe/tna. through right now it has to do so much work to get over Chiakara in my heart

The soap opera side is OK when it doesn't become the be all and end all. I'm sure the balance was much better in the past.

I quite like watching live Indie shows for the same reason, plenty of wrestling and very little nonsense.
