Great TNA spoiler:

Nigel McGuinness debuted by attacking Kurt Angle

I'd much prefer to see Danielson face the latter, but that's still a dream match.

Wasn't The Rock booked as a heel in the feud though? His face turn was completed when Austin went batshit with that chair, IIRC. And I'm not saying it wouldn't be a draw for us smarks, I just mean that Vince is well known to be generally against booking two faces to wrestle at the company's biggest event because he feels that it should be an event where the good guys traditionally bring down the bad guys once and for all. Going into WM23, I think the heel had won a main event maybe four times in WM history.

Regardless, PP, do you have anything to say on the other points that I made? I felt they were decent ones. I personally would rather not see Taker face John Cena as the match would be gooseberry fool, and the crowd would be booing Cena(even though he'd most certainly be booked as a face). And how would they even build up the feud? Jericho would be a much better shout if it was to be Taker vs. A. Wrestler, as he could pull one last epic match up from Taker, and they could build up a feud on Jericho's current character that would have the fans screaming for blood. But they could do the same with McMahon as well, IMO, and I'd like to see Taker beat the gooseberry fool out of him.

I don't have a problem with Taker V Cena at mania. They've hardly faced each other in the past so i think i could sit there and watch the match. Plus imo Cena is better than people give him credit for and i believe he could sell the match well enough. However going by the storylines on SD recently i do get the feeling that we could see McMahon V Taker however it will probably be before mania as Vince usually struggles to keep storylines going for a long period of time (with the exception of Orton & Cena).

Also on the SD spoilers for this week

Changing the teams around like that, WTF is going on. It's like the management have just suddenly burried all that talent that was in the match. If SD do win then they are basically saying that the guys that were dumped weren't good enough. What they maybe should have done was dumped 5 faces for 5 heels and then they could have fueding for a few weeks leading to a match at Survivor Series. That would make sense as a storyline.

Also from my memory Austin and Rock were both faces going into WM17. I'm sure Rock had been a face for like a year or something by then.

Batista/Taker and HBK/Cena were both face/face matches and headlined a Wrestlemania too

I'd like to see Edge headline Wrestlemania if he is fit. He is one of the few great wrestlers left. Ideally I'd like to see him against Orton or Jericho, but I don't think Jericho would get the nod. I can't stand John Cena, he just isn't interesting or a talented wrestler. He should turn heel.

Ugh, Jericho is miles above edge, and orton. I would cream my pants if he headlines WM. Won't happen though.

I don't disagree, but as good as Jericho is, I just love Edge as a wrestler. If I remember only one thing about wrestling, it'll be his diving mid-air spear on Jeff Hardy at Wrestlemania 17.

I like quite Edge as a wrestler, and he's in some great classics. But that's as far as it goes with Edge, for me.

Another TNA spoiler-the next PPV looks rather fabulous.

-A.J. Styles vs. Samoa Joe vs. Daniels for the TNA Title.

-The British Invasion vs. The Motor City Machine Guns for the TNA Tag Titles.

-Kurt Angle vs. Desmond Wolfe (a/k/a Nigel McGuinness).

-Bobby Lashley vs. Scott Steiner.

Very 90's crowd at TNA's Bound for Glory on Bravo 2, now. Loud as hell.

(Lots of WCW/nWo shirts)

Daniels looks extremely like Daniel Day-Lewis. Facial wise, anyway.

Taken from PWTorch, it seems Snoop doggs appearance didn't really help out RAW's ratings compared to some of the other stars like Shaq. IMO Snoops appearance was rather pointless as he didn't appear to do anything. The only interesting part that involved him was when Santino dressed as Charlie Brown.

WWE Raw from Monday night averaged a 3.33 rating, which was within the same margin of error as the 3.35 rating from last week's show. Raw from October 5 also drew a similar rating of 3.30.

The final sales pitch from the Raw brand for the Bragging Rights PPV started with a 3.17 rating in the first hour, then increased to a 3.48 rating featuring Triple H vs. John Cena and the advertised match-that-didn't-happen of Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels.

We'll have a more detailed ratings break down later this afternoon.

Also on TNA the crowd is very hot. I really would like to see them in a large arena to see if they can pull it off. As i said a few pages over i don't understand why their biggest ppv isn't in an arena larger than the one they used for this.

Just a thought is the 7 V 7 match at Bragging Rights an elimination or one fall wins match? Due to the number of wrestlers i assume its a one fall match but i don't think they've actually said so have they?

So heavily papered, yeah?

Wrestling Observer Newsletter wrote:TNA delivered big in the ring at Bound for Glory, its biggest event of the year, but going all the way to the West Coast and drawing so poorly left the event a mixed bag.

The company’s biggest show of the year, on 10/18, drew 2,400 fans, and that figure was significantly papered at the end, at the Bren Events Center in Irvine, CA. Several in the company tried to red flag going to Los Angeles for the big event, figuring there would be problems with drawing, and after months of television hype of the date, only 850 tickets were sold about a week before the show.

This female interviewer's overacting is hilarious. Why must she make those stupid faces every time a wrestler is talking?
