Bryan and Vinny show is really funny this week, for the people who don't usually listen to it do so as it's extremely funny, especially when they slag Shane off for about 20 minutes.

Just watched last night's episode of Superstars, and thankfully the Morrison loss to Jericho wasn't a total burial; he ws on top early on, Jericho got the heat before the final commercial after an awesome spot where JoMo went for his springboard spinning kick off the ropes and Jericho just pushed him to the floor, but then Morrison made his comeback, Jericho reversed a Moonlight Drive attempt, got him in the Walls, and Morrison escaped... and then was distracted by SHELTON BENJAMIN's music playing and him appearing on the Tron - Jericho then hit the codebreaker for the pin.

The show also kicked off with a pretty good edition of The Cutting Edge, with Jeff Hardy as the guest.

-- Nash says he’s back at about 75-80% following his elbow injury, and is getting back in the hang of things after a near career-ender.

-- He speaks on his match with Samoa Joe at the Sacrifice PPV coming up next on May 24th. Nash says any time you wrestle Joe, Joe brings his best, and you always feel it the next morning.

-- Nash says that Vince acknowledging TNA is good, but calling it reprehensible is hypocritical since Vince is the same person who produced a show featuring Mae Young giving birth to a rubber hand, among other things.

-- Nash says that when TNA picks up another million viewers and starts doing a 2.5 or a 2.7 rating, only then would it be time to switch to Monday nights. He says it’s a young company that has a lot of growth left to do.

-- Nash acknowledges that he’s turning 50 this summer, but says he wants to keep wrestling because there’s no time that a beer tastes better than right after you get out of the ring. He also says he kind of likes the grassroots feeling of doing an indy show.

-- Nash says that Jenna Morasca is cool and got into the company through Kurt.

-- He saw Scott Hall last Thursday and he is still alive and kicking. He says his old partner has burned some bridges in both TNA and WWE, but never say never when it comes to Hall.

Maybe if he drank a protein shake rather than a beer he might age a little better

Haven't had the time yet. I'll give it a listen tomorrow.

I was expecting Wrestling Observer this week, though.

Aye, they switched over what was the "free" show this week as Monday's WOR had a guest appearance by Konnan.

The Konnan show was awesome, Konnan and Dave kept talking over eachover and without Bryan it would have been a complete mess. Konnan's rant on Juvi was worth the 9.99 a month alone.

Sadly though, that means no Jericho Morrison feud and instead looks like Morrison is going to be sucked into mediocrity with Shelton. :fp:

People would complain if he was pushed into the main event too early anyway so it's better this way. Give him an easy feud with Shelton for him to come out on top of then move on to the Intercontinental Title. Should be easy to do, if Jericho and Rey have a lengthy fued as rumours suggest then Rey would probably have to drop the title at some point.

Some of the early Wednesday PPV stuff is really good but they never seem to reference it. Back when the show had a better feel to it and not this six sided ring nonsense. Obviously because it was all PPV they had to try and keep the quality high to make sure that people buy next week. Not the usual drag some gooseberry fool out for 3 weeks then put the actual match on a PPV tactics.

I think that was Lockdown 2006. That was back in the day when they had spots like that all the time. 50% of the PPV cards were just meaningless spot-fests.

Yeah, he used to have an awesome submission move called the Anaconda Vice which he doesn't do anymore.

It is. The used to sacrifice solid wrestling and storytelling just for stunts like that. I'm all for them but they need to mean something and not have about 5 per match or you become desensitised to them.
