I love those

Just how personal and quiet the background noise is, it makes you feel like you should'nt even be watching it, as if secret. Although I am a little confused as to whether or not it is scripted. Although the Monday Night war one, was great, Eric even made some valid points about Vince buying up talent beforehand and being cheered for it whereas he was jeered, but he pretty much gets crushed by everyone.

You can watch Wrestling With Shadows for free on a candian tv website and youtube has a channel with hours of wrestling documentary footage with Sean O Haire, Vamprio, DDP..etc.. i've forgotten where. I'll try and recall.

I hope the Rise & Fall DVD praises the Nitro Girls. A small thing, but they really added to the show. It was one of many minor Bischoff inventions that made Nitro more like a conventional sporting event. WCW Nitro was such a different beast that if Vince were to introduce the 'Raw Girls' who danced at the start of the show, & then randomly throughout, it'd just come off as completely ridiculous (as it did on ECW).

Another thing Nitro pioneered was the segmenting of hours (Raw then caught on by introducing the "War Zone"). The pyro & what not would go off again to begin hours 2 & 3. Tony Schiavone would then usually plug ticket dates & appearances while the Nitro Girls did their thing.

Finished Bret Hart's book.

Boy, Shawn Michaels was an unbelieveable prick back then! Like an attention seeking five year old, the stories about him and the clique would put you off them. Especially HHH, he wanted to make sure that The Rock never happened. Now I know it'd be hard to keep down The Rock and he was always going to find a way, but Bret takes credit for playing a small part. He played a huge part in Austin's rise to fame.

That's worth watching for Raven at the start.

So you're doing a documentary about wrestling and you don't know who I am?

Watching the Raw main event, I can't help but laugh that not only are Shane's punches missing by a country mile, but he's single handedly getting the best of 3 men. I thought it was bad enough when Vince spent 5 minutes kicking Orton's backside around the ring.

It's hilarious.

Have you listened to the Bryan and Vinny show review of this week's Raw.... there's an EPIC rant about Shane.

Haven't had the time yet. I'll give it a listen tomorrow.

I was expecting Wrestling Observer this week, though.

You only have to watch the end of Wrestling With Shadows to see exactly what they're like. When Brett's wife confronts them at the end Hunter is fighting to keep the smirk off his face the whole time.

Just watched a ton of these vids that show 'when wrestling goes wrong' and must say, Its rekindled my admiration for these boyos. As incredibly rediculous and ott as these stupid stories are, as hilariously bad as some of the fights are, these maniacs are really putting themselves on the line sometimes.

Ah well, Sentimentality over :shifty:

Aye, they switched over what was the "free" show this week as Monday's WOR had a guest appearance by Konnan.

During the broadcast tonight, Team 3D was doing commentary during a match in the Tag Team Tournament. Tenay says "Well known wrestling announcer Jim Ross said in a blog that he doesn't foresee tag team wrestling returning to prominence" and asks Team 3D's opinion who go on to bash "JR's company" for not giving a crap about tag team wrestling which is unlike TNA where it is alive and is thriving

John Morrison really doesn't work as a face. They need to keep him as a cocky/arrogant heel.

Especially how they've gone about turning him, with no explanation whatsoever.
