Just checked a new site and the top story was about Mickie being fired. Was quite a shock to say the least.

I hope that Shelton joins TNA along with Haas as they're both excellent in the ring and it would be great to see them teaming together again. Would also be nice to see Mickie and Katie Lea turn up on the show as both are far above the rest of the WWE Diva's and would fit in nicely with the Knockouts.

So I watched Impact last night.

Obviously not being a regular viewer has its setbacks, i.e. I don’t really know what the deal is with Team Hogan vs. Team Flair but the return of Samoa Joe was cool. Seeing RVD vs. Hardy was great but I didn’t think it got anywhere near enough time and suffered as a result. The main event was quite unexpected and I figured that someone from Team Flair would interfere on AJ’s behalf, but I totally marked out when RVD got the three count.

Women’s match could have been bumped off and overall I didn’t think there were enough matches. But yeah really enjoyable.

Not really that surprising. He's never quite capitalised on his potential. His moment was that match against HBK on RAW all those years ago. Since then he's just been a Money in the Bank high spot mainstay, and the Gold Standard thing never quite caught on.

I reckon the World's Greatest Tag-Team should never have been broken up.
