Of all the spoilers, the only one to come true by night's end was the one about Beth Phoenix!

As soon as Triple H was eliminated, I thought I was going to pull double duty & win it for the second year in a row.

Well, I thought I had my bases covered :lol:

Triple H in the sweepstakes and HBK as my pick. Baws.

Despite having the best form & odds in the world from WWE.com, the Wrestling Observer & PWinsider, it all went to hell.

I bet the WWE rebooked parts of that match in the last few hours to get one over on everyone. There's no way the news sites would get something like Beth Phoenix & Edge eliminating Jericho right but get the other two wrong. That's before you even factor in WWE.com's balls up (which ironically may have sealed the deal in a rewrite if it got back to Vince & company).

While it's possible there was a rewrite, it's also possible those were the plans.

Edge has been hinted at by sites for weeks now, and eliminating Jericho was the obvious thing for him to do. I didn't expect him to win it, though. As soon as Edge was backstage, that was pretty much sealed for the sites.

As for Beth, she only has to mention that she's in the Rumble to one person, and that'll spread to a source eventually. The winner, though, is kept secret to the majority of wrestlers until they arrive at the show on the day, and then it's harder to leak it.

Edge winning doesn't make much sense to me. I'm glad he has, though.

In better news me and Zell won the sweepstake

It wasn't the greatest PPV but not bad either. The Rumble itself had it a few good moments HBK eliminaing HHH, HBK's freakout after getting eliminated, the Miz/MVP brawl, Matt Hardy's elimination made me laugh, Edge's return and win

The highlight though was obviously CM Punk who is in my eyes, a strawberry floating GOD.
