Are there any download links around for just the rumble (just the match :shifty: ), or am I gonna have to download the whole PPV?

Someone needs to make a GIF of Booker's face after he's eliminated from the Rumble. Priceless.

What I don't get is that if booker is now back in a contract then shouldn't they have given him longer in the rumble? I know he got to do his main moves but I still feel it didn't look him look like a top guy.

Also out of interest as most people seemed to have enjoyed the ppv what one thing would u have done differently to make it that little bit better?

For me it would have been hhh coming down when sheamus is about to squash hornswoggle have him clothes line sheamus over the top rope and then eliminate himself by going over with the clothes line. They could have then just fought each other back up the ramp.

That's because he's not going to be a top guy. He doesn't want to wrestle full time anymore, he wants to be at the announce table.

I would perhaps have left Daniel Bryan and John Morrison in for longer. Usually each year there is someone outside the main eventers who has a really good showing and these two made great starts but didn't quite spend enough time in the ring. Of course, Morrison will be remembered solely for that spot, but would have been good to give him a better overall showing. Also I would not have had the Hornswaggle/Cena thing. Other than that it was all very entertaining.

Regarding Booker, it really depends what their plans are for him. Rumours are that he won't really be wrestling that much and will take more of a managerial or even commentatorial position.

Nothing that I've heard. If I had to guess I'd say he works towards a wrestlemania pay-day and then either retires or semi-retires. Maybe he can feud with Kofi and put him over

Yeah he is though

Back then? Certainly not in the conventional sense.

I'm sorry, I don't understand. Please rephrase.

Shane McMahon is a professional wrestler. *shrug*

Shane isn't a trained pro wrestler. He did the big stunt bumps and got carried like a sack of potatoes. Not to take anything away from him, but he isn't, by any stretch, a professional wrestler.

Get back in here with you.

As you probably noticed last night, Matt Striker got a monumental bollocking - finally culminating in Cole going bananas (through Vince) at the arrival of Big Show. If you look, I think you can see Striker leaning back in his chair, dead quiet, shortly after making some stupid Loony Tunes voice.

You could tell it was building all night - seems to be a common occurrence on these PPVs. They can't stand each other.

What did Cole say to him?

As for what would've made the Rumble better...as someone said maybe the return of HHH and a few more surprise entrants/returns really. I was hoping for a Y2J, Christian, etc.

High points for me were The Miz dealing with Cena, Del Rio winning, Cole at his best and Barrett doing well. Did anyone else think Cena was going to attack Cole when he stomped over to him?

Striker was reeling off some stats (again) & Cole, at the top of his lungs, "WHO CARES! WHO CARES?! Somebody shut his mic off. MY GOD.". He then tried to interrupt Miz/Cole a short while later & then the whole thing became inaudible.

Cole & Lawler also made light of his reference to the Michinoku Driver. Lawler claimed not to know what Striker was talking about - it's highly unlikely that Lawler can't remember "Taka Michi-no-clue".

How long before do you think it'll be before Striker gets the axe from the PPV's???

Last I read, Vince was a fan of Striker, incredibly...though that may have now changed.

If Striker is axed, maybe Booker T will replace him. Or Josh Mathews.

I think they were a bit unfair on striker over the taka comments. I think a lot of people watching todays product would remember him and references like that are nice to hear. Like u said though despite king working with taka for yrs he probably can't remember him.

Nah, KK is saying that King can remember Taka, and the way King was laughing at him when he got knocked out at RR 2000 it'd be pretty hard to forget.

For the most part I loved the Rumble, and popped hugely for Nash coming out as Diesel, think was he had no real signature moves to do apart from the boot to Rey Rey Booker got strawberry floating heck of a reception though! :P

Hated Cena though, squashing CM Punk and Nexus in a few seconds :? Wtf WAS THAT all about

Punk
