Most likely him, aye. Although, and this is probably just my inner fan-boy speaking- EDge has had Christian with him at the Slammys and just used his finisher...maybe subtle hints.

Pretty good Rumble. Highlight was when Booker came out :D I love the reaction he got from the crowd. Also, Morrisons piece of acrobatics was pretty damn awesome. Biggest surprise was probably how early Punk went. The lack of crowd reaaction for the Orton-Cena "face off" - can't believe how muted that reaction was. Glad Del Rio won though.

Does anyone know the latest reports on the Undertaker's fitness/health? Looking forward to his feud with Barrett and the Corre, if the reports of those two fighting at Wresltemania are true.

There's no way Ziggler is finished off  Wrestlers have survived worse and if Miz can make it, anyone can.

Anyway it was a good event and I don't regret buying it, I'd much rather Punk and Orton was for the title than Miz/Cena but right now the card looks full of potential for good matches. Maybe not Wrestlemania-grade matches but still good matches.

Tell you what was weird though, Cena getting eliminated and then going straight to Cole and not running after Miz :?

Striker wasn't too bad too, he got torn apart at the end and rightfully so. He was great during Booker's part "I'm marking out bro!"

Thoughts were basically what everyone else has said. Fantastic Rumble until the champ arrived and then it went to gooseberry fool.

Not sure if I'd like to see Miz vs. Cena at WM because I can't see Cena not leaving the event with the title.

I Maffed :fp: Last thing I remember was Morrison leaping off the barrier back into the ring.

Going to download the show and after that I'll start the marking. Unless anyone has the stats I need?

I hope if they do have another MITB this year they give it to John Morrison as he deserves a main event push 8-)

For those wondering who usually plans out these Rumble matches, it's Michaels Hayes & Pat Patterson. I think it's fair to say more often than not they do a great job.

Kinda funny though; Nash said Miz wasn't a believable WWE Champion, young guys don't draw & what have you, & on the night, Miz gets an average reception & Nash blows the roof off, & is the most popular on the entire show. Meltzer mentioned it & thought it was rather amusing.

On Twitter Nash posted:

I think that is reading too much into it. Nash got a big reception because surprise and nostalgia. While he looks in good shape, he moves slower than the Great Khali.

Overall though it was a very good rumble. I agree that the momentum got sapped out of it in the middle though, i don't necessarily blame Cena & Hornswoggle as i found that bit quite funny, the problem was though it changed the speed of the rumble as very little was occuring for such a long time whereas it had been very fast paced and full of action to start with.

Can't believe i changed my prediction from Del Rio to Punk and then to Cena :fp:

LOL at the commentators for not realising that Riley got eliminated for like 5 minutes

It was a nice touch with Santino, i had actually forgotten about him until just before Del Rio won, but it was obvious that he wasn't going to win it though. Annoyingly i went for the longest option with Santino on the GRAPL and i have a feeling that he may not have last quite 20 mins but it could have been close.

Final thought, where was HHH to come down and elminate Sheamus?

If Nash is back full time, I'm guessing there's a good chance he'll be working with HHH in some way upto 'Mania - maybe hyping HBK's hall of fame induction somehow.

Maybe a new DX (or nWo) with Nash/HHH and some others to feud with Nexus on RAW unless they're gonna keep them feuding with the Corre..

Has there been any confirmation of Nash/Booker being more than a one off anywhere?

Sure, that's all it was - but the reception will just cement Nash's current opinions. TNA were probably watching that & going "See, look at that...we need more old codgers"...ignoring Del Rio's just won the Rumble.

It's also ironic that Nash & Booker T were more over in those 5 minutes or whatever than they were the entire time they were in TNA. Went from meaning nothing in Orlando, to mega pop in the WWE.

Booker's under contract, Nash isn't.

The Santino surprise was ruined for me because I had to time him so I knew he was still left :x

He was in for 13 minutes by the way.

Yeah that is funny that they can look washed up in tna and still do it in WWE.

Glad booker is sticking around.

What I think was missing was someone turning on a friend or someone joining either nexus or the corre.
