Lowest turn out of the year for this PPV. Sw26 mysteriously went AWOL, jeopardising his place in the top 5.

Lots of high scores this month but one man managed to outdo the rest of the pack. Drumstick takes home the points. Luckily taking the bonus away from Mockmaster who would have surely pushed himself beyond reach with one PPV left.

Yeah I've been disappointed with it so far. After those creepy promos and the crying and playing the crowd..his gimmick just seems to be his old one but just without the suit and an awesome Jacket instead. With nothing else in the way between now and Wrestlemania i'm hoping we start to see more from the Punk/Jericho feud.

KKLEIN wrote:UK Ratings for the week ending 12th February 2012...

The second of the IMPACT WRESTLING tapings from London pulled in 208,000; WWE RAW Live did 174,000; 149,000 tuned in to WWE SmackDown on Friday; WWE Late Night Superstars did 38,000 viewers on Saturday; and 26,000 watched WWE Bottom Line (RAW) in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Viewership for the first IMPACT WRESTLING from London drew in excess of 363,000 (so probably around 450,000 as an educated guess).

In other words, despite being available in every single home in the UK, Impact only got 20% more viewers than Raw, which is available in roughly 2% of homes.

I only watched the elimination chamber matches, but I thought they were ok, entertaining enough. I liked that D Bryan won the smackdown one because we get to see the over the top celebrations untill wrestlemania now :D. I thought Barret looked pretty good in it and Cody Rhodes as well. Shame Orton, Henry and Christian we're injured otherwise we could have had a really good match instead of the good in parts match we had.

On the Raw chamber, I did enjoy it thought it was the better of the two. Had a chuckle that R-truth spent about as much time in it as last year, and this time he didn't strawberry float up a load in the weeks leading up to it. Was suprised that The Miz was booked to be strong in this match considering he's not been to hot recently, but at least with Jericho not losing properly gives a reason to start the wrestlemania fued now, and a good build up between Punk ( ) and Jericho.

All in all, the two chamber matches could have been better, but were pretty enjoyable to watch in the morning. Really looking foward to Wrestlemania, if they give the right people enough time it could actually be something special (they won't though).

He too often ends up becoming tedious, for me, which I know jars with the majority of opinion in here. That's been the case for the last two iterations of the character - he's smug, he's good in the ring and he doesn't get the respect he deserves. We get it. Nothing really groundbreaking there but I find his performances a bit dull too - he's "The Man of 1004 Holds" yet we rarely see him cracking beyond a dozen. This time, though, he's been erratic and I can't say I've taken any enjoyment out of his various bits and pieces. The Punk feud can't heat up quick enough.

You could hear the groans when he revealed the "world will never be the same again" was simply a hooky line and that eight weeks on, actually, things are more "samey" than ever. Cena's Superman, Punk's holding his title, Smackdown's still awful and creative are so hopelessly inept that they're turning PPVS into extended editions of Raw with a laissez-faire approach.

Smackdown's been really good for a long while.

EDIT - Apparently Smackdown's live tomorrow night. Did not know that.

I liked both the chamber matches. The Smackdown one was really poor up until Big Show forced his way into the pod but from then on I found it really entertaining. Giving Santino a decent run was brilliant. Fair enough he wouldn't really fit in the main event tier all the time but I don't see any harm at all in the odd push here and there, he has been one of the more consistent performers for years now. In just over a year he has been the runner up in the Royal Rumble and an Elimination Chamber.

Also #6 in GRAPL yeah. Come a long way since ending up bottom of the inaugural season and receiving my John Cena "prize" poster. 8-)

You kept the pictures.

I actually left it up there for a few weeks. However it scared the gooseberry fool out of me one night when I woke up and saw John Cena's face peering through the dark and promptly was removed.

Rog will call Mania down the line. He doesn't do swerves. He knows that The Mock = Buyrates.
