I haven't watched a ppv live since probably the gamesradar days. Way more fun than watching afterwards.

IMPACT WRESTLING Tapings from Manchester, England to air on 31st January and 7th February 2013

Segments seem to have been taped out of order in places, so if you don't want to know two weeks in advance...

No Stage. Hard cameras set up above the 'TitanTron' again like last time.

They opened with a steel cage match between Mr. Anderson and Kurt Angle. Angle won. A masked Aces and Eights member attacked Angle and revealed himself to be none other than Garett Biscoff. Wes Briscoe ran down to make the save, only for it to then turn out that he was also a member of Aces and Eights.

Bad Influence came out dressed as Scotsmen in kilts and bragged that he would have defeated Jeff Hardy, but lost due to Hardys' face paint being so toxic. They were ran off by Magnus who then challenged Devon as part of Open Fight Night. D.O.C and the former Mike Knox came down. Magnus threw all of them over the top rope and posed as Aces and Eights retreated. Crowd went nuts.

Earl Hebner came out next to massive boos.

Joseph Park came out to a huge ovation for Open Fight Night and was about to call someone out but Robbie E interrupted. He ripped on the UK crowd before teasing a stare down with Robbie T, who seemed somewhat offended.

Park vs. Robbie E. Parks won with a big splash.

Austin Aries out next, accompanied by Bobby Roode. There was huge pop for Aries and they had to rip the crowd for heat. He called out Chavo Guerrero with the stipulation that, if he beats Chavo, then he and Roode get a tag title shot. Massive Austin Aries chants. May be some booing piped in for TV. Aries won to a huge pop.

Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan came out. Bully asks for his suspension to be lifted. He called Hulk Hogan family and said they have a common enemy. Bully called out Sting to appeal to Hogan. Sting made his way out. Sting called Hogan out. Biggest ovation of the night thus far as the Hulk comes down. Bully opens the ropes for Hogan. Sting asks Hogan to side with him and Bully against Aces and Eights. Hogan says he did the right thing for Brooke walking her down the aisle and will do the right thing again and reinstates Bully. Hogan announces next week (later in the night) that it'll be Aces and Eights vs. Sting and Bully Ray in a Tag Team Tables match.

Velvet Sky calls out Tara and Jessie. James Storm comes down to make it a mixed tag match. Velvet Sky gets the win with her finisher.

Three Way Dance with RVD, Zema Ion and Kenny King. RVD hit a Frog Splash on Kenny but pinned the already down Ion for the victory.

British Boot Camp winner Rockstar Spud came out and thanked the UK fans, before Robbie E interrupted. Rockstar beat him down before dancing with Robbie T.

Bobby Roode and Austin Aries defeated Chavo and Hernandez to capture the TNA Tag Team Championship.

James Storm pinned Jessie Godderz with the Last Call. Storm celebrated with beer after the match.

Aces and Eights came out next. There were massive "You can't wrestle" chants directed at Garett. He said last year in the UK the crowd chanted the same thing at him, and that's what made him decide to join Aces and Eights (which is funny, as they were edited off TV). Wes Briscoe ripped on Kurt Angle and said his dad trained Kurt. They called Kurt out and said if he shows tonight, they will end him.

Bully Ray & Sting defeated Aces & 8's in a Tables match when Bully put Devon through a table. After the match Brooke and Hulk Hogan came out to celebrate.

It was good to see Smackdown actually used to slightly advance a storyline from Raw - just like the old days. You had Punk calling out the Shield which was pretty intriguing and of course Rock and Punk squaring up one last time before the Rumble. I hope the Punk/Rock feud does carry on after the Rumble. It feels like they've only really feuded for the last 2 weeks or so but it's been quality stuff so far.

Yeah indeed. My only concern is that no one will have really seen it as it was on SD. I didn't read the spoilers and had no idea rock or punk would be on SD until I read something earlier. So I only watched because if that. I wonder if people won't have tuned in as they might be expecting another lacklustre SD.
