That tag match, what a shitter.

And Wai definitely seemed to have a hotter temperament than John (because he was wrong, that sort of behaviour isn't on).

Unless Hemme really is upset about it I don't really see why so many pundits are getting so hot under the collar. Her Twitter comments were likely in character so unless she actually complains to management then there is no issue. If they are close personal friends then she could very well have no problem with it at all.

Wai got more annoyed because John kept creating scenarios to try and disprove him which involved physically touching Hemme.

Wai must have stated at least five times that he agreed that everything changes at that point but Aries didn't touch her so it was a stupid comparison to make.

The reason TNA are doing something about it now is because of the attention that's been brought to it. I doubt they would have done anything if it wasn't blown out of proportion like it has been.

John 'I'm offended by everything' Pollock was always going to come down on that side. :fp:

He's right though.

He's not, though. He said she was upset when she actually wasn't.

But she was upset, she even went on Twitter to complain before it got removed.

All I saw was a response to a fan where she said it 'wasn't cool' which seemed more in response to the fan than her actually being upset.

Did she say something else?

WWE SmackDown Tapings

It opened with Miz TV. Guests were Randy Orton and Big Show. They went back and forth, with Show saying he's knocking Orton out in his home city (show is in St. Louis). Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter came out. Colter said Swagger would make Del Rio say, "No Mas." Del Rio interrupted and vowed he was going to make Swagger quit. Mark Henry then came out and said he would drag Sheamus around the ring. Sheamus said he would leave Henry all battered and welted up from the strap. Sheamus then went after Henry with a strap, but instead Henry moved and Orton got hit.

Match 1: Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns defeated The Usos with the Spear. They set up a triple team power bomb until Kofi Kingston ran down and cleaned house with a steel chair.

Match 2: In a rematch from RAW, Brodus Clay & Sweet beat The Prime Time Players when Clay pinned Young with a splash.

Match 3: Chris Jericho defeated jobber Antonio Cesaro via submission with the Walls of Jericho.

Summer Rae came out and distracted Jericho for Fandango to attack. Jericho ran off Fandango and then laid out Cesaro when he tried to jump Jericho with the Codebreaker.

Zeb Colter did an interview saying he wasn't sure if Dolph Ziggler was really hurt. He said that real Americans don't quit, and they will expose that Del Rio isn't a real American.

Damien Sandow cut a promo saying Cody Rhodes would beat Miz.

Match 4: The Miz defeat Damien Sandow

Match 5: Kaitlyn pinned Aksana off a Spear

Main Event: Randy Orton, Sheamus & Alberto Del Rio defeated Jack Swagger, Mark Henry & Big Show when Orton pinned Swagger after an RKO. Sheamus also laid out Show with a Brogue kick.

Her twitter comments are largely irrelevant because TNA stars use twitter in character.

I maintain that unless Hemme is genuinely upset and has voiced that to management, then TNA don't need to take action. So far it's just been a bunch of white knights getting all offended on her behalf.

If a female star had done that to a male star there would be absolutely no complaint at all.

I'm still yet to see any evidence that Hemme was offended in the slightest.

Whether she was offended or not doesn't change the fact that it was inappropriate and unprofessional and that somebody should be having a word with him about it.

This all could have been largely dealt with had Aries just apologised straight away. Someone in TNA should have got on top of this, ordered Aries to post an apology and that would have been that. Now you've got upper management in SpikeTV involved, which is a disaster.

Hemme for whatever reason has also removed her response to a fan, which could make it look like she's the one who is in the wrong and been ordered to remove it. In truth we don't know why she removed it, or even what her true feelings are on the matter. There haven't even been any 'leaks'. For all we know they could be very good friends.

A very mismanaged situation, where the narrative is being led by outside forces. But then this is TNA, and the person in charge is a bit soft.

None of the females would actually be bold enough to do that, and secondly, if it were to happen, no fella would actually complain about it.

If they're friends, she was cool with it (judging by her laughter she was) and he then did it to be funny, (which it was) then I don't see the problem.

Wai's point stands as well. It was a heelish thing to do and it fits perfectly with his character, especially after the lambasting he'd just given her about strawberry floating up the announcement.

Complete mountain out of a molehill as far as I'm concerned. If Christy was offended then Aries should apologise of course but I'm 90% certain she wasn't.

I'm not concerned whether she cares or not. What I am saying is that going into business for yourself like that, with that kind of gesture, is inappropriate and unprofessional.

It has been blown way out of proportion, but at the same time, it's something that TNA management should at least be acknowledging, even if only to avoid something else happening down the line.

Well he reacted to her strawberry float up and went with it. I personally thought it was thoroughly entertaining and something you would expect the character of Austin Aries to do.

I think we need to get a little perspective here.

I do agree that TNA Management should be acknowledging it, though. The white knights have made a story out of nothing so it should be addressed.

This has only really become an issue because of Mark Madden.

Now I'm not saying it's right or using this an excuse - especially as it wasn't planned - but in the grand scheme of degrading or questionable actions towards women, this isn't up there.
