The Dixie Carter DVD is now available to view on MegaUpload itself:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=8ZBGPBMJ

And to anyone that wants even more free wrestling related podcasts, OVER THE TOP RADIO is available to unofficially accompany The Bryan and Vinny Show (they're all friends). It has a fantastic intro theme if nothing else. Also on there is WCW Flashbacks, which is currently looking back at 1992.

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/edward-loredo

There's also PWTorch.com's Phone-in, which goes out Live every night at 10:30pm for an hour, Bryan & Vinny Show every other Wednesday (it's up today free), & the Wrestling Observer Radio every other Tuesday.

End of an era :fp:

For those who predicted eight months in the polls regarding when Hulk Hogan arrived in TNA, you got it right.

On his 57th birthday, Hogan just announced on twitter, "I know you've heard the rumors brothers and they are true. Eric and I are leaving TNA on a mutual basis. I just got out of meetings now. It was really fun but time to move on. TNA has new leadership coming in. Make sure you Hulkamaniacs still support them. TNA needs the power of Hulkamania to live on brothers."

This message came 16 hours after several message he twittered yesterday pushing that he was stayijng. Last night he posted, "Yes, some of the EV 2.0 guys are sticking around, but so is Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and the rest of the TNA crew dudes." Later he wrote "Dixie and I both love what we do, we get along great dudes. All the power to TNA."

In totally unrelated news:
TNA post a profit

Not surprised they're gone. Is this Dreamer taking over? If so he really has become the new Hogan.

Bischoff is now claiming that the Hulk Hogan Twitter account that HE linked to is in fact an imposter, and they aren't leaving TNA.

If Bischoff, Hogan etc. spent as much time writing a decent show as they did trying to prove how smart they are, we'd have a cracking TV show.

Edit: It does appear to be fake. http://twitter.com/realHulk_Hogan. Eric Bischoff is always talking about people are too quick to believe things, and yet he got worked by someone pretending to be Hulk Hogan, who is one of his best friends

# With hogan in a meeting. Bubba about 2 hours ago via Echofon

# Hey bubba army this is hogans new twitter @realHulk_Hogan please follow him. Show him the power of the BA. Bubba about 17 hours ago via Echofon

He was in a meeting with Hogan and didn't notice that the fake Hogan was on Twitter?

It wouldn't surprise me if Bubba is being an attention-seeking back-stabbing banana split again. He's the one who probably made the Hogan account. :fp:

I was actually excited when I read that Hogan was moving on. :(

The only good thing about Hogan is that he can't book himself in matches because he's too old. Tommy Dreamer can. And probably will. No offence to Dreamer, but he has no place in the main event scene whatsoever. History tells us that when wrestlers are in control of the pen, they can't help but put themselves over to the detriment of everyone else.

WWE SmackDown on the 30th July (featuring an entertaining Rey Mysterio vs. Jack Swagger main event) did a 1.6 rating. Yes, a 1.6.

TNA are going to be taping FIVE iMPACT!'s next month in the space of 3 days.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter wrote:iMPACT! 19th Tapings

Sting & Nash came out for a promo. Nash made a comment about how after 25 years in the business, he’s not in it for the money. You know, after the last few years of booking his character about being about nothing but the money. Nash said that people have called him a cancer to the business (insider reference No. 454) but said the cancer is in the back. Before he can say who the cancer is, out came Jarrett. Jarrett said that Nash only cares about himself and that Sting has a closet full of skeletons. Jarrett said he founded the company, and then Bischoff and Hogan came in and made the company even better. He grabbed a chair and threatened to go after both guys. Hogan then came out and said he’s with Jarrett and they went to the ring. The lights went out. Apparently the way the building is set up, even with the lights darkened, everyone could see Fortune running into the ring and also see both Jarrett and Hogan just lay down with nobody touching them. Well, Nova said it best on the PPV, it’s wrestling and it doesn’t matter.

Wonder if that'll be obvious on TV. Probably not.

ProWrestling.net wrote:Current plans suggest Jack Swagger will be feuding with Matt Hardy.

Defeated by Rey Mysterio on the 23rd July, wasn't on the show last week, loses to MVP this Friday & now he's going into a feud with Matt freaking Hardy. What a demotion. He's had one of the most backhanded pushes since...well, I can't even remember when. His World Title run was beyond abysmal.

strawberry float knows what going on with this 'fake' Hulk Hogan Twitter account, who's now saying he's a TNA employee. Todd Martin & Bryan Alvarez were discussing this on Figure Four Daily, & they have no idea. The latest tweets read...

realHulk_Hogan wrote:I am not Hulk Hogan, but I am a TNA wrestler who got Eric, BTLS, Jarrett, and Dixie to think I was Hogan.

BTLSRadio wrote:everybody unfollow this jobber asap

realHulk_Hogan wrote:@BTLSRadio And that's why TNA fired you, because you're unreliable you racist prick.

realHulk_Hogan wrote:What am I going to do next? I will walk out of TNA and find a job some place else if I am not treated fairly. So will others.

Without us, TNA is dead. We are their backbone.

realHulk_Hogan wrote:My identity our identities will be revealed if @TNADixie doesn't call for a meeting and admits her mistakes. We will walk out.

Put this meeting live on TV too why don't you. Admit your own faults on TV, rather than telling us to step it up, because we have already.

realHulk_Hogan wrote:I can't get answers in private, so I've gone public anonymously. Simple as that. @TNADixie

realHulk_Hogan wrote:Everyone thought Vince Russo was bad, but he's nothing compared to Eric Bischoff today.

realHulk_Hogan wrote:Bischoff should have quit altogether once his WWE deal was up. I was even fooled though into thinking he'd be good for TNA.

realHulk_Hogan wrote:@TNADixie continues to pretend that nothing is wrong, but Nashville is going nuts right now.

realHulk_Hogan wrote:Me and my boys are elated to see that we have caught the attentions of the Internet Wrestling Community and TNA offices.

realHulk_Hogan wrote:TNA can hear us. But they certainly ignore us backstage and backstage they have nothing to lose, here they do.

realHulk_Hogan wrote:The entire TNA staff just got emails asking us to send them our Twitter usernames if we have one.

Everything he/she is saying is true by the way, but easily could have been accessed from newsletters/internet reports. Apparently Eric Bischoff is a complete disaster backstage & is hated by everyone. The individual is sure going to a lot of effort if he's a faker. There's a possibility this is Hogan's real Twitter account, but someone has gained access/guessed his password.

I feel a bit sorry for Lacey Von Erich. She has no business being in the ring, she's an absolute disaster, & worst of all she probably realises she sucks...it must be embarrassing. And it's a taped show - there's really no excuse. If this was the WWE they would have at least attempted a salvage job on it.

http://twitter.com/realHulk_Hogan has been reset by TNA (I guess that gives credence to it being the real deal). The hacker has since opened up a new account: http://twitter.com/TNAnonymous

He's given two 'clues' as to his identity.

TNAnonymous wrote:My identity comes out in October when my contract expires. Yes, saying my contract ends in October, but so do the contracts of about 14 other wrestlers.

TNAnonymous wrote:I have held a title in TNA.

So basically the entire roster, then...

I wonder if a lot of wrestlers are considering jumping ship to this new promotion that's opening up out of Florida, which apparently has heavy financial backing.

Can you imagine the pop he'd get? I'd actually prefer it to The Rock coming back :shifty:

Was thinking along these lines too. Probably turn out to be homicide though.

And count me in for marking out if Danielson returns at the PPV.

Danielson > The Rock. :shifty:
