I was at the Sports Bar in Glasgow tonight. They charged people five pounds to watch, then cut it off just as it was going to HBK vs. Taker. Oh the riots. I even saw a girl flip a table full of drinks . They pinned a guy against a wall for nothing, I pushed a bouncer then he bricked when I didn't back down even though he had another five behind him. Fat cock, "yeah you'll get a refund tomorrow." Good one, I expect some shitty paper coverage. No one in the place moved for about 20 mins then finally did once lots of police showed up. strawberry floating amatuer for not advertising they only had a licensce until 3, Still, all for wrestling.

Just got back, and while the show had some duds (Bret Vince was one of the worst 3 matches I've ever seen) the MITB was good, Sheamus Hunter was fun, Punk Rey was good but too short, Edge Jericho was decent and Cena Batista was much better than expected.

But that main event? I love it. Better than last year's, IMO. Such a strange, high-paced match. What an ending. Awesome.

Those signs were phenomenal. Me and my mate were pissing ourselves at the fishsticks one.

It really was a great event, five ***+ matches says it all. Only one match over four though, so for me it treads the line between good and great.

I felt Mania was stale. May be it's because I don't watch Raw or SmackDown and just find out what is going on in the WWE by reading this thread.

The best match was Taker VS HBK but not as good as last year. It seemed a little pointless because the match was exactly the same as last year. If you're going to do this match again then it had not top last years.

Also it's just not the same without J.R

As bad as you could possibly make it, really. It hurt the Edge/Jericho match big time as the crowd did not give. a. gooseberry fool (& it wasn't a bad match). They then roundly booed Edge at the end for spearing Jericho through the barricade.

A very mediocre show I thought, only brought back to life by the fantastic main event.

Wow. From the impressions I've read so far I'm not sure whether I should be looking forward to this. It sounds like aside from HBK/Taker it was a very lacklustre event.

Surely Mon(k)ey in the Bank wasn't a complete letdown?

The crowd is so important to WrestleMania. There have been countless matches over the years that haven't been anything special in the ring but were made into moments by crowds that were into everything (we'll all remember Lesnar & Goldberg for the reaction from MSG, or Hogan & Rock. Now imagine that match in front of a comatose crowd).

The way this company tries to get people over is strawberry floating hilarious. We've got Kofi Kingston, Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes & Sheamus. Who do they decide to go over? Why it's Jack Shagger, the man nobody gives two strawberry floats about because they've spent the last few months making damn sure we don't care.

Hart & Vince was a terribly booked load of gooseberry fool.
